Great price. Pressure cookers nowadays are much safer than they used to be. A fantastic way of cooking.
Saw a very positive review of pressure cookers on tv last night.
I got one of these 6 months ago and have still to get round to using it lol. The instruction booklet is pretty poor so you'll need to get a recipe book as well.
Seen this in my local Aldi on Thursday £39.99. Looks good. Much better than those aluminium pans.
Shame that current Prestige models can only manage 12PSI, the older models, including the stainless steel ones we have all did 15PSI, so cook at a higher temperature in a fair bit less time.

I guess the lower pressure means they can use thinner metal, reducing manufacturing cost.

Isn't too difficult to be honest - Boiled potatoes take 12 mins with this model

Surprised at that as they take 20-25mins on mine in a pot.
Usually pressure cook potatoes (@15psi) for 7 minutes in mine. Some varieties only need 5.

It does take several minutes to get to pressure though.
