Went into my local Staples at Watford today. Not sure if nationwide, but saw a display full of these. There will be cheaper 4GB options, but this is in a leather surround, in a gift box, and sells for £22.99 on Amazon.

Good holiday Darren?

What is it?

That looks too soft in the wrong places. I guess would make a nice present though.

Whahaha - that's amazing! Favourite part:

"Who Buys It? and Why?

College students who want to carry their music and photos with them and work on their term papers, use IM, and check email from various public computers. "

:-D

As for the item here - agree on the hideous but good deal for someone out there maybe. Hot!

hideous

(/imho)

just what I need - heat added:thumbsup:

hideous

I must be the only one to find this actually rather attractive (As far as USB mass storage devices go!).

I'll be checking my local... Fingers crossed!

its one of those usb thingies, bargain... voted hot :giggle:

There are 2 different USB Sticks. One is Tan Snakeskin type, as seen in picture and the other is a much nicer Black Leather one. I have the Black one

reminds me of an old zippo lighter i used to own

nice find

total tack

I think the black looks alright......reminds me a bit of a belt!! lol. amazon.co.uk/gp/…8-6

be prepared

I actually quite like these. They are a bit different at least.

You are not voting on the company/manufacturer/bad products/bad customer service.

This is only your thoughts. Proof would be great!!

Vote on the deal as it is.

By that logic, this deal would be voted cold by everyone, it's not the cheapest 4GB card.

Whether or not this is a hot deal is entirely dependent upon its perceived value above the standard USB drive, so company/manufacturer/bad products/bad customer service are perfectly valid considerations.

Voted hot, great deal :-D

Hi!

No -

It is based on current price comparisons.

And this is the lowest.

Thanks

(company/manufacturer/bad products/bad customer service feedback would be great - but have yet to been given)

This site is called HOT UK DEALS, so it's based on how good or "hot" the deal on offer is. Therefore it could be based on just about anything that gives greater value to the purchaser than they would normally get. Value is not just letss £s.

Nice find. They've got some in my local store.

Hot for me

not really sure how to prove it, but i have a prestigio tv that's been to and from the repair shop about 4 times, each time coming back with a new fault. it was away for about 5 months. the only reason i have it back now is because its latest set of faults is the least offensive yet and i decided to settle

when contacting customer services they were rude, arrogant and robotlike, responding to my questions with generic scriptlike answers and claiming that there is no manager to speak to. though the product was still in warrenty and was clearly fubar, they refused to replace it with a new working unit

as a result i would not purchase a prestigio product again because i feel they are unreliable. this can be applied to a usb pen drive because even if it is super cheap, i wouldn't trust it with any data. from my experience with products from the same manufacturer i concluded that, though this may be a better price for the same item than elsewhere, that the price is nowhere near low enough to justify the risk incurred by its use (a bit dramatic, but hey)
