Bought this clock instore from my local ASDA and found it was pretty good, nice alarm volume, lives off the mains with a battery timekeeper. Moody teenager but I reccommend this as a plain simple clock, and for £2? Easily in the basket

Moody teenagers make great timekeepers

Sorry Haven't Got The Time For This... But Heat Added !!!!

Probably a does what it says on the tin item ... depends on how much from elsewhere but off the cuff seems heatworthy ....

Cheapest I could get a replacement alarm clock, and it is very tin-descriptive. And Haha Boz.

Poundland don't do one, even if they did it wouldnt be as good as this one.

Just jokily predicting but given my lottery luck ... this will still be good for a long time

hope they have this in my local need a new one and its the only alarm my OH will wake up to !

Nice cheap replacable alarm clock, can't see much wrong with this and a good price!

Looks good! Will keep an eye out for one!

Standard delivery price is £4.95,helpful if put INSTORE in title.

One of the reviews says "avoid like the plague!"

Sorry Bully, but it is instore too.
And McCririck, I've got one, had it for months and cannot fault it at all, so don't know what that guy's on about.

I've had one for months too and it is class.

I've been looking for a cheap one for some time, will check my local Asda

Posting this from phone... just a thought but if you like it and someone says it has bad reviews why not give it a countering good review

Has this got the usual boring alarm tone or something different?

The End - nice name, it has either a very loud buzzer which wakes up the guys 4 doors down, or up to FM/AM radio from any volume.
You'll always wake up though.

Picked up one of these last week instore. Well worth the money!!

I got one of these for my second year at Uni... works a treat... means i don't have to nail a clock to the wall

I have this clock, paid full price, great little clock, will buy another for my daughter...well worth it !!:D

I wouldn't have thought anybody reduced to shopping at ASDA would have need of one myself.

Eh?
Where did my education go?
WTF is "tin-descriptive"?

I picked one of these up on Saturday for £2, before seeing this deal here.

Should have posted

it's a little expensive. but i'll keep an eye on it.

Had the old version of the Smart Price Clock Radio from Asda (was about £3.49) and it was absolutely fine, and kept perfect time, the only issue, and it's something that happens with most of these, is that over a while, the radio drifts off tune, no big deal.Surprisingly though, the reception on this was actually really good, although don't expect much in sound quality, afterall it's no substitute for a normal radio, but is perfectly good enough to wake you up, and of course it has an alarm as well.

Ultimately, I'm being critical, it's £2, and for that, it's amazing value for money, and even if only used as a clock, you can't fault it, especially as it has battery back up for power failures (this doesn't power the display, but will remember the time settings for when it is switched back on, or power resumes).
If only the McCalister's clock, had battery backup, maybe Kevin wouldn't have been left Home Alone!
Have some more heat!

love your title: pretty good clock!

This clock has AM/FM radio and alarm clock. you can set the alarm as one of the radio station or standard alarm.
I have one of this which i picked up from stores as i wanted a digital clock which i can see in the dark. This clock i perfect and never let me know. Keeps the time bang on the time!
even better it also serves me a a night light

A shame this needs a wall plug, I'll have to move my bed closer to the wall now. Here's hoping I find 2 £1 coins lying about under it when doing the moving!

Apple should give one away free with every iPhone

Do I detect you're not Jobs' biggest fan?

heat for not putting 'brought'

Just wait til you go to ASDA and find 2 trolleys with £'s still in them. (_;)

Perfect for people off to uni in September/October

Looks like a good deal, but nearly 1000 degrees for a £2 bedside alarm clock? Sorry I don't mean to sound negative, but is it really that sensational?

Good deal.
Bought one of these a while and it does what it says on the tin.
