Maplin clearly are going mad - only £3 for 50 batteries!

They don't deliver any more but check if your local store still has any stock and jump on this! All other prices seem to have taken a dive too!

You know you used there when there should have been 3 different variations of the word in your post?
Do these batteries last as long as their closing down sale?
The problem is,same with the 80p screwdriver,is you can't add them to the basket because it won't allow you past the store checker

None available at our local branch. Infact everything I've checked there this morning hasn't been in stock, wonder if it's closed down already?

I bought them when they were only slightly reduced and my daughter seems to have no complaints powering little neon signs and radio controlled gadgets.

Cheers will give them a punt for this price
Worth trying
Some are available online, thanks to OP alerting me to the price drop I just bought a couple of packs of AA x 24, and a couple packs of AAA x 100. Prices £3 and £9 per pack.
Loads in Lakeside. Absolutely brimming with them. Not gonna buy any as plenty for now.

I have been using these batteries for a while They seem to last a good while. Sometimes longer than well known brands etc. Last time these were on offer i bought the 100 pack. I might see if my local store still has stock. Always good to keep stock of batteries as you'll never know when you need them!
Wouldn't trust them had a 9v battery from there and it exploded last week

There’s always one
40AA +20AAA @ £6 on website. You're only getting 10 extra AA for the £3 more but still a good deal if no stock in your area.

I bought these a few weeks ago (at a higher price) - they do not last for very long, running out after a few days in a clock!

Probably a teacher, with nothing better to do. Don't worry, they will be back to school soon.
I bought it is rubbish every 2 weeks I have to replace my TV remote control ending so quick. I bought AA and AAA both are very bad quality. Trust me the batteries I buy from £1 shop is last longer. Good luck if you still wants to give order.

Sounds like there's something wrong with your remote control, or putting the batteries in back to front.

Not had any issues with these so not sure if posters saying otherwise have had a dodgy batch.

Best value batteries around since Ikea put their prices up - shame there will be no more soon...

100 AAA batteries for £9 still available for delivery.
Just got some from shop near work, they weren’t marked up as £3! Thanks

Yeah, I just tried to reserve them and no joy.
Couldn't find in my local, even though it said 2 in stock. Got 40AA+20AAA for £6 instead
