47350576-2lLCz.jpgI got this in 75 Inches. Was a deal from here months ago when it was double discounted so I got a good deal . Picture quality great, speaker suprisingly loud and I'm sure u can do 120hz 1080p with this so you use this as a gaming monitor ( haven't tried it myself as I have monitors for that and 1080p with this size will be too blurry for me) overall great TV! Tempted to get another one smaller size though

Keep seeing this question but seems nobody wants to share the answer.

If your employer has a discount portal, i.e. Sodexo etc... you'll find a link to Samsung in there. The links here always ask me for a Samsung employee account, which I don't have. However, I can use my discount portal link to take me onto Samsung's site and search for the same prices.

No 4K option for me. I think that may be an app update thing rather than the TV not being capable, though.

Also, quick update. As known, the sound is probably the weakest point of this TV - so I grabbed a sound-bar to remedy it.

The Samsung T-400 to be specific. Not the most fancy, and has no HDMI - however connected via optical cable it sounds leaps and bounds better over the inbuilt speakers. Plus I nabbed it for £55 bone’s delivered (eBay, new - open box).

It fits eerily perfectly in-between the legs of the TV, like barely a MM to spare! So looks awesome.

Overall, extremely pleased with how this budget set up performs with my PS5/XBSS and streaming apps.

Bought this a couple of weeks ago as I thought I couldn't go wrong as always had this brand but it has the worst sound I have heard on a TV for years! I'd read others had said about sound quality but I wasn't expecting it could be this bad. Off to buy a soundbar this weekend.

Q65A is in theory better, especially for movies etc, this is better for gaming.

Need a new monitor for work and light gaming, was looking at 32'' but at this price and with the gaming functions, may as well upsize to 43. Worst case scenario, it doesn't work well as a monitor it is used as a TV in the downstairs loo.

Would be interested to know how this TV performed as a monitor. Thanks.

So mine arrived today, nice bit of kit. Very good picture in HD. Sound lol really is very tingy, set up the Samsung soundbar which massively improves the sound. Soundbar is the grey one so set it behind the TV, looked out of place in front of the TV. Gives me option to have the sound over WiFi to allow me to free up the hdmi arc port.

    It's fake/pretend 120Hz unfortunately. It's only a 50/60Hz panel.

Doubt it. If like currys they won't price match whole sales or manufactures. Only other retailers

blurry? you should get your eyes checked.

He's talking about using his 75" tv as a 1080p monitor. Not as 4k tv (edited)

Hi looking at the 65 inch how do you rate it?

For the price i paid (or even better, this price), i don't think you'd find a better TV overall. As I said before that sound isn't great straight from the TV speakers, but it's not awful either, it's just a lot better using a soundbar. That goes for most TV's these days though, unless you want to pay over £1k. the remote controls (you get 2) are great too, the normal one is set out nicely and is intuitive, the other, a minimal remote, does all the basics and has voice input (if I remember correctly). This isn't the first 4K TV I have watched, but the picture quality was better than I was expecting. The interactiveness with mobiles etc. is very good too, it's simple to mirror your phone to the screen or airplay and that's with an iPhone rather than an Android or Samsung phone (Samsung Galaxy phones do get more features to use with the TV).

The 65" is also very big (about 1.4m wide), so check the space you're planning on putting in first (edited)

Has anyone got the best calibration settings for this TV please?

For gaming, it took me ages to make it look right. I have HDR on - Shadow detail & Sharpness all the way down. Games that run on 120hz look amazing now.

A TV this size while sitting 6 feet away while viewing 1080p image isn't good but I use this mainly for 4k content. People that buy the 75 Inches buy it for the size and the brand for the prize I bought it for it was a no brainer. Only bad thing is this is in my games room and it's the smallest room in the house so yeah maybe need to get my eyes checked

I've been happy with the 43 inch due to having very narrow lounge, although in hindsight probably could have gone with the 50. Great TV, especially for gaming. OS is fine but probably worth investing in Chromecast at some point.
