Not after a body cavity search for missing pandas.

cheap as not from the UK. The UK has the highest passenger duty tax on long haul in the world! This is why Indians fly to Chicago from Delhi via Helsinki.

If you actually base your holidays on what An Idiot Abroad ( a reality show for goodness sake ) has to say about countries like China, perhaps it's for the best that you DO give it a miss.

Having been to China on several occasions for both work and pleasure, I'd absolutely recommend ANYONE to grab the opportunity, particularly if you can get flights at this price... BARGAIN! HEAT!!!

Stacey, do be aware that foreigners on a tourist visa are not permitted to drive vehicles in China, so forget the car hire. You are only permitted to drive as a foreigner if you have a residency permit, so that rules out short term tourists.

Additionally, China doesn't recognise international driver's licences, so you would need to take and pass a Chinese driving test.

Thirdly, who would be insane enough to want to drive in China?

Wish I'd mentioned that! Yes, we were picked up by our Chinese friends ( on our first trip ) from Shanghai and driven to their home in Xitang..... fair to say I closed my eyes after one minute and missed half the journey... NOT the place you'd want to drive!!

Lovely price even at £312 early next year. Cheap flights to Stockholm too. However at temperatures dropping to -9º in late January it might be a little chilly.
Hot.. (and cold!)

Unfortunately it's almost impossible to line up cheap flights to ARN alongside the cheap flights to China. Shame, would have loved to take advantage.

Pack plenty of oxygen cylinders.

on the 17th of November the quickest return to Stockholm takes 36 hours . Add the UK return trip and it's a long long journey

Called the airline, they will cancel all orders

Looks a great deal what's the cost like when in china compared to uk prices?

Great place to visit, shame about the chronic smog.

By the way, I would reword the above description slightly, from "Beijing, the Captial of the Republic of China" to "Beijing, the Capital of the People's Republic of China". You don't want to start World War III. ;-)

good man, have a cookie

Add on the cost of a visa, multiple entry if leaving to visit other countries. Think it's £30 single and £45 double entry, (ooeeer)

That is why it said at the top of the deal

" Don't call the airline or Online Travel Agency!"

You book with a credit card and they won't cancel the deal. Airline ticketing is not like shopping online at Tesco, rules apply. Not much point now as you've screwed the deal.

It must be some time since you last got a visa, the price is £66 for single and £81 for double, also you must buy your flight first and also have your accommodation booked. also they want to know your whole trip in stages, if you are refused a Visa i'm not sure you will get your money back for your flights.

I've only ever been on a business visa, never been refused. Thanks for the update, I forgot they add service charges on these days too.

You? Definitely.

have to pick up luggage in Stockholm. For long haul flight, it's not ideal to have this type of connection.

You would just check in for both flights and SAS would arrange to transfer the luggage on.

Honestly Stacey you have found more holidays this year than Thomas Cook, Expedia and Opodo put together

To give you an idea, return flights Manchester to Stockholm around the dates I am looking at are direct with SAS for around £115. That fits fine with the outgoing flight as it allows around 5 hours between arrival and departure flight (you may be able to ask SAS to check in your luggage at Manchester for all the flights as they are with SAS and coming back I would stay in Stockholm for a couple of days. I am just thinking about this for next year.

Flights with Turkish around the same time period are about £470 so this is a great saving.

And it is showing up as premium economy.

Nothing wong with this deal.

I am getting £382 as the cheapest flight for this.

Has anyone else tried in the last few minutes? Maybe they have rectified it now.

Yep, booked and I was able to put in the reference on SAS and it shows up confirmed £453 for us both. I may ditch the last leg and just fly home from Copenhagen, so time in Stockholm on the way out and Copenhagen back, will see. Will wait to see if there are any cancellations first, but my ticket shows up already. Holiday Pirates are amazing. This is as good as the open jaw Peru flights. I've just got back from Canada today and booked another holiday, I feel so naughty!

Never had a problem with a visa, never met anyone who has. I can guarantee you that a newly released axe murder on parole could get a visa, provided he doesn't declare his occupation. Expect to jump hoops as a journalist or get the red carpet as a rocket engineer, your choice
