Damn. I would like to go to a friends wedding in NZ but that's on the 7th.
That would probably work out cheaper to fly there then fly to NZ .

Such a shame the Cricket World Cup is in Feb/Mar. Still tempted to go though

wont let me put a departure date in, anyone else having same prob?

All sorted now!

Fine here, put in dates of 7/4/15 and return 20/4/15 £434 each. Just need to get hold of my wife to see if she can can get time off work!

Id book right now, only our little girl will be 1 1/2 years old. Anyone else traveled such distances with a young child?

Same

Still more than I paid to fly to Perth in the Singapore Airlines sale.

Not working. Says 944 EUROS with Air France

Are you using Skyscanner? Still showing up cheap for me with skyscanner which takes me to travel bag website to book.

Ive just booked (not the same as one way) 5 tickets to Perth for £2300 (3x adults and two kids) via Etihad if that helps anyone. Not sure how much more return tickets are though.

Very good price, and fairly good reviews of the Dreamliners they use on some of the route

It's a very good price - not as cheap as it could have been, but some people pay what you have paid for 1 person..

I see most have got for 405 per person whereas I got 888 for two. How much are these tickets normally?

Last one, what is the weather like between 7 april and 21st. Please dont say it will be peeing it down.

Always wanted to go AUS and this is going to be our first time in the place. Now we need some decent accommodation.

How much spending money do you need for two weeks?

£700-1200 depending on the dates is about normal

Booked with them and travelled in march.Absolute awfull airline and experience.First flight 3 hours late from Heathrow, overbooked so arguments at check in as to who should travel .8 passengers had to be rebooked for later flight. No alcohol as they are a dry airline and very miserable cabin crew. Now returning from Melbourne flight dalayed again due to the toilet not working we wete told.2 hour delay. The dubai stopover was 2 hours more than expected as .....well we we never told but seems that air con was playing up which had to be seen to by emirates engineer.Food not up to other airline standards so all in all I would avoid at all costs. You can let one problem go by but the number of problems encounted by us was unacceptable.

So even based on 700, ive saved about 500 notes.

just booked three weeks for £400 :-) Stacey you're bad for my bank balance!

Starting to get colder as it's coming into winter (a friend from Melbourne had been complaining about the weather for a few weeks on FB) - money wise... Save as it's not cheap (let's hope the pound gets stronger), though you save money by eating wisely.

for everyone just a reminder this is a mistake, so please do not call the airline or any agents - book online only so the deal last..

hang about....so its going to be cold? Do we know what the weather was like this april just gone? When you say cold, are you saying no shorts or t-shirt?

Got prices for 2 adults + 2 children flying 7th april returning on 26th - £1561, we were thinking of going to visit family next year and this is pretty amazing price. However, our internal uk and australia flights would come to over £1200, so in the end unfortunately for us it's just as expensive as going with anyone else (ie Emirates).

28 hour flight is brutal. Max I've flown to Australia is 22 hours and that killed me.

bom.gov.au/cli…tml

Still warm, just cooling off - I would still say T Shirts and shorts - look at the start 30 degrees and then averages around 20 degrees.

Better to stay in hotel or rent an accomodation?
