Price Glitches on Argos - All items BOGOF and Buy two for £xx

Banned
I've seen a few of these posts now, but its getting a bit repetitive. The Argos ordering system is completely on the blink and any items that are either:

Buy one, get one free
Buy Two, save £xx
Buy Two for £xx

Are all glitched and quickly clicking the buy or reserve button adds then at prices much below what they should be.

EG

Set of three seagrass boxes 875/2817 - BOGOF at £15 but if you add a few of these they go in your basket for free.

PC Games - £19.99 but buy two for £30 - If you add a few of these they go in your basket for £10 a game - effectively two for £20

Works on pretty much everything. Obviously there are no guarantees that any orders will be processed, and I seriously doubt any stores will honour the wrong prices, but there you go.

Enjoy!

Dunno why this is cold eh, I've given you a better deal than those banana baskets to start you off, and a lot more.

There are lots of things you can do this with, just have a search.

Been into Argos in Hemel Hempstead this morning and none of these deals were honoured - I have 8 seperate reservations of various combinations and checked them over 20 mins just to add some randomness. Reservations are subject to pricing at collection and it seems the store systems price correctly hence they wont honour them. Anyone any other experiences?
I havent tried online, but I suspect that since the online system feeds their main system, these will be corrected at processing but who knows!

You yourself say you doubt the stores would honour the 'deal', email confirmation for all orders to collect at Argos states the reservation is for the specific item and the price will be determined on the day you pick up your purchase.

Sorry voted cold.

Order it for home delivery then....? That way you've already paid for it and they can't really change the price.

Yawn

Chilly in here isn't it??

IF anyone has been fortunate enough to get this deal on home delivery maybe they will vote it HOT???

Charges for home deliv are only done once dispatched and this means it has to be processed into their main system - they can change the price right upto dispatch as long as they inform you and you agree - if you dont they can cancel.

I voted cold mainly because youve clearly done this to try and snag some of the rep for yourself.

Sorry but it did not work for me either.

Stop clogging up the internet with rudeness, please.

Pot calling kettle black.
There's no need for such a reply, surely.

Why be so rude, !

I highly suggest you get a dictionary and look up 'rude' or simply type the word into Google. If you think my comment was remotely rude then you're in for a world of surprise.

i brought 2 sets of these today. the 3 sets for £4.99 (total) as seen on HUKD did not work for me. Still brought 2 sets for £7.49 as they are really lovely!

Looks like this has expired. The site now seems to be functioning correctly.

Possibly,

However, I've just had the £4.95 delivery charge debited to my credit card, and received confirmation that my free 21 seagrass boxes are going to be delivered on the 31st.

So its a big V to those doubters really.

did you get your seagrass boxes?
