EDIT - thanks to @TheDelBoy for the spot - deal still available when you checkout

Further to the Nokia 8 deal this is good for those of us with smaller pockets. Again you may get £50 cashback which brings the price down well under £100!

My Moto G5 Plus camera is all wonky, and I've lost faith in Moto phones, so I'm going to get this, get my Moto repaired under warranty and sell on I think.

To find the deal the quickest, view plans, then use filter on the left to show just 1 month plans.

Add £15 sim + upfront cost says £159.99, when you proceed to basket, it amends to £119.99.

Defenitely a lot of bang for your buck there. A 3rd of the price of the nokia 8 and still very decent specs

Great price.

Hot deal but really ops post should say £134.99

Great value for a larger screen phone.
Had mine for a couple of months now and very pleased.

It's a slight trade down from my Moto G5 Plus, (quick charging, lower CPU, and I'll really miss the one-button nav most of all) but Lenovo seem to have finally ruined Motorola

Will it be locked to vodafone and have vodafone branding on it ?

Yes, do it straight away as they require 30-days notice.

cannot see this on the site, have filtered to 1 month contracts and lowest monthly sim price.

It's not the lowest monthly SIM price, it's a few up from there. I think you can change to lowest upfront price...

Lowest monthly sim price on vodafone is £15 so would still bring it up anyway :P

Wow both Nokia deals I posted seem to have gone already in the space of a couple of hours - I think CPW must be monitoring me! I got this deal, but it has gone already. Either that or they were both a glitch. Hope mine gets honoured...

Hope some others managed to get it before it was pulled

Sounds a bit risky, could end up getting charged for a 2nd month.

Yeah I was gonna say that, it's only £160 on PAYG

Exactly.. op added glitch and notification appeared.

Exactly, what's the glitch? Cold for deliberate use of glitch keyword.

No -the glitch is that it looks like £159.99 when you add to basket but it drops to £119.99 when you checkout. Added glitch so people know there's a an issue with the initial apparent price.

See my note above - the price drops once in basket.

heat for this. gonna go for the nokia 5 which works out £105 with the sim (possible 50 cashback too). the smaller screen works better for me, currently using a moto G4 and its not the best for single had use.

Bit of a random comparison but how does this compare to the Galaxy S5? I've had my S5 for years now and it's starting to feel its age (the camera in particular isn't doing too well) so I was looking to get a new phone. I'm perfectly happy with everything the S5 does though so while it would be nice to have a bit of an upgrade I can't really justify the prices of the S6/S7. If this is as good or better than an S5 then this might be what I'm looking for.

As you can probably tell I'm not really well up on phones, lol, also is there any disadvantages to not having a Samsung?

Was considering... however please be aware that TCB states that you need to retain the contract for 3 months before cashback is paid. I imagine it is the same condition on other cashback websites.
Was hoping to order, cancel and pick up better network for my area plus cashback... but sadly not... will probably buy the phone by itself to pick up a cheap piggybacking network for the kids Christmas.

Pretty good deal even if the TCB doesn't come through

do you have to pay extra £13 a month?

Thought the same too. But one of the cashback offers don't state this in the small print of the deal. I know what you're on about, but look at the other prices and I'm sure one doesn't mention it, may have been a lower rate I think

The Nokia is stock android, so you won't have any of the extra TouchWiz gimmicks(?) Samsung adds to its phones like the eye tracking and swipe to call from the contacts lists etc.

Thanks for the reply, I don't think I'd really miss the gimmicks by the sounds of it. I've never used the eye tracking at all, and I'm sure I could get used to tapping on the contact rather than swiping it (in fact I think I do that anyway)

Now to decide whether to go for this phone or this one or a completely different one altogether

it will probably feel like a downgrade because the screen is quite a bit lower res. despite being 3 years newer. battery is probably better though! performance not too different, front camera better, rear camera worse.
