Description
The PriceSpy App helps you find the best price every time you shop no matter where you are!
Using the app, you can log in and create lists of products you want to compare or make a wish list. You can also use our filter to make your search more narrow, which will help you find exactly the product you're looking for. The PriceSpy Android app has the following features
• Filtering to easily search based on properties
• Price alerts through push notifications and e-mail (requires login)
• Lists, where you can save products accessible later in the app as well as on pricespy.co.nz (requires login)
• Compare products to see how they differ from each other
• Real time search in order to get the best price fast
• View price and popularity changes on products
• Use voice search to make your search even easier
• Integrated barcode scanning for price comparisons on products in stores
• Online prices of products in nearby stores
• Reviews by members of products and stores

• Suggestions of related products
The PriceSpy app monitors the markets in Sweden, Norway, the UK, Ireland and New Zealand. To switch market: select the menu, choose settings and then region. Please note that switching region affects the language of the content displayed in the app.
The PriceSpy app aims to give you the complete PriceSpy experience, and then some, right on your mobile. We are continually developing the app in an effort to make it even better, as well as adding new features.

Good reviews on the Play Store

I just tried about a dozen different searches, and it matched the results from Google Shopping every time. More stats with this, though. Impressive.

I've checked out a few items on here, mainly gadgets and they all link you to the website to buy the cheapest price and a chart of how the price has been.. Wish I'd come across this site/appbefore.... Would have saved myself a lot of time...

oh, and RedLaser

The first thing that I found to check out turned to be something entirely different on the vendors site and with a differing price, so a little sceptical.

Full of buggy product detection, just do a search for "Oakley sunglasses" and click through to the shops on the really cheap prices - yay, some socks, a wallet, some lenses.

THEY HAD ONE JOB…

Tried the S5000 3g tablet posted on here, £130 at John Lewis, lowest this app finds is Amazon at 180. Seems like they don't inch John Lewis, but then JL are hardly ever the cheapest anyway!

Tad unfair.. Type In Oakley and then choose which model u like, then u get a choice of supplier and the price they well it for, u can't expect miracles, it's a guide and sometimes u have to use your own common sense to filter unreputable suppliers..

ive typed in akg k450 headphones and got £69. usual price is £40 from Superfi and varies sites like Amazon.

It's not full proof and they may not consider john Lewis an online shop.. Have u checked other items.

I've just checked out the tp-link to-sg1005d that's just come on here, it not only came up with the item cheaper elsewhere (not including delivery) but it gave me other suppliers and told me the price of the item over the course of the year. It's not full proof and I'm sure there are other examples of not picking everything up, but use it as a guide rather than blindly relying on it.

This site and app has a nice interface, but as usual with price comparison services, the content isn't there. Most stores/prices are missing.

Google shopping is better, though it is certainly not perfect. Combine it with a few regular google searches for whatever product you are after. If you want, bookmark the store's pages and periodically check them. Check Amazon, ebay and play marketplaces as well.

Totally agree, use the app as part of a comprehensive search and u can't go wrong!!

I tried searching for nikko vaporizr and nothing came up so used ideal
mobile.idealo.co.uk. which found it. it does the same thing I think. Ill try it alone side idealo as that doesnt find everything either.

Not at all impressed by this? Searched for a few products, big and small, and it had less than half of them. I cannot see much advantage to using this over using the Amazon app and checking second hand products too.

As you say. It's a very useful app (thanks) but expecting it to be 100% perfect is ludicrous. None of the price comparison services carry every item and every seller, and this is every bit as good as all the others. You just have to show a little patience, and maybe a little ingenuity. Sometimes these are rather lacking in people on this forum.
