maybe not pricing error , more like halfords are over priced !

I think you'll find the halfords trade club price (or non-overinflatedripoff price) will be about this.

These are under £3 from costco and are vastly over priced elsewhere especially garage forecourts.

Good price with 100% extra free.

Does anyone with real insight (not just opinion) know whether this actually does anything?

I have a 16v renault megane and use the injector cleaner in a full tank of gas once a month and it seems to help the engine run smoother plus I get a couple of extra mpg.

definitely makes a difference, its like comparing cheap supermarket fuels to major companies fuels. The detergent and lubrication added protects your engine and cleans it so works better and lasts longer in the long term. great stuff! good deal with the BOGOF

I use the Redex diesel treatment on my old Land Rover every now and then and it does seem to keep the coke from building up on the injectors and keeps the cloud of black smoke under control ;).

It always seems to be on offer in Wilkinson for around the £3.50 mark all the time and always seems to be in 100% free packs. Seems a decent price but not exceptional. Good spot however.

my car flunked it's MOT cos lambda was 0.1% over so i put 250ml into about 1/8th of a tank of fuel the night before the re-test, did 10 miles on the dual carriageway, the next day the reading had dropped by 0.4%.:whistling:
The cost of changing the lambda sensor was £80 inc fitting so i saved £76.
Result it definitely works:thumbsup:!

Thanks for the input. Ive been tempted to try this for a while, but didnt want to waste £4 on a small bottle of fluid if it doesnt really do much.

Right.............:?
Octane Boosters are relevant to Fuel injector and Carburettor cleaners........................... How? :whistling:

more likely morrisons reduced the price but never replaced the labels...

i work for Tesco and this always happens - even when stuff goes up in price therefore they break the law - but ones do slip through the system.

This is injector cleaner though, not octane booster. Still snake oil though as all petrol has detergents in these days so it's not needed.

i'd agree with this, i worked in a morrisons petrol station, the method the use for getting updated shelf price tickets is flawed and often some products are missed
