Hi, this is my first post so go easy. Thank You.

I saw someone else's post on here about a Dehumidifier at Homebase for £30 and I went to the store to get one as I've been after one for a while but I couldn't find it. I asked a lady working there if they had any in stock because it said they had 4 online. She got the code from my phone and it turns out that the pictures I saw online aren't correct. So I took a picture of what's on the display. It does say £139 on there but the lady checked and said it was £30 and she was right cause the till came up at £30 too. I'm not sure if this is national or not but it was in the clearance section so I would think it is. I got it at the Homebase in Oldbury. It's a bit long, I know. But I'm hoping it'll help someone. And it is my first post, don't know what kind of reaction I'll get.😬. Thank You

8-hour off timer
3.5 litre tank (auto-off when full)
Drain hose
Lightweight
Carry handle
3 dehumidifying modes
Ioniser function
Oscillating Louvre
Laundry drying function

P.S. I have used it a little bit and I think it's really good and would recommend it.

He/she was asking ShabbyTattie. And it was mentioned as Vax, not Hoover...

Link for the dehumidifier not much stock about though.

With that response you've just made yourself out to look like the tool that you are. Thanks anyway.

Next time keep it for yourself and stick to the subject, oh yeah and check who’s asking and what...

But that’s not the product bought, OP bought an 8 litre desiccant one ... that one is 16L and doesn’t have much info
If only you understood... erm, well anything really 😬🙈

Strange, it's the wrong dehumidifier for sure, but it's the product code the op gave.....
I think the OP got a bargain it's definitely not SKU 148310. They may have put that code through the till to get it for £30. I posted the previous deal. In fact I bought it. It definitely has the SKU 148310. This is a different dehumidifier from the picture on this post.
Anyway whichever one it is 30 quid is cheap .

None in Brum but they ave some in Bromsgrove and Droitwich just down the road
None of either in Plymouth
Just picked one of these up from droitwich they had loads on the shelf priced at 130 whatever they were went to the tills and were 30 quud so bought it. Are these better than normal ones which have bigger reservoirs as the 16 litre one is 30 quud too but it is not the same desicant type?
Just picked one of these up from Reading. There's still a few on the shelves.
homebase.co.uk/16l…als just got one from Farnham. 30 pounds no bad at all. Hope it will work fine. Just switched it on so will give a feedback.
By the way, do you think it will help to dry the clothes out?
A dozen or so at Greengates - Bradford
Good find OP.

Picked up quite a lot of stuff thanks to all the HUKD posts.
Now i'm broke!

Apparently dessicants work better in a cold environment (conservatories) whereas the compressor type is more for inside the house (with heating). I'm sure someone will prove me wrong otherwise.

Pick one of these up in Exeter Homebase (same brand if not the exact same). There was one more - price not marked up as £30 but it went through the till at £30
Picked one up at Colchester. Same brand was marked as reduced for £69, but scanned @ £30

Thanks OP
Bought the same today at Blyth homebase. It has a yellow sticker on it claiming it was a moretti dehumidifier. Still scanned at £30 (previously £100, then £69.97, the £30!)
Does the dehumidifier make your home feel warmer during the winter ? Is it worth getting one for the winter ?

It does help warm up the house a lot quicker and it's definitely worth getting for the damp winter days.
Thanks OP. Could anyone post the 6-digit SKU code for the desiccant dehumidifier please? Thanks.

SKU is 375189, on the Homebase system as Moretti 3.5L Dehumidifier (but not on the website), and Prima brand (Homebase) on the box. There were still quite a few showing in stock on Monday afternoon, but none left now in Scunthorpe. Think they might have got the code mixed up for this. It's a great deal.

Thanks for that Deal-Breaker. If it helps this was the stock showing on Monday afternoon. I got the last one from Scunthorpe.

Do you work there? That's cool that is. And I went to the Oldbury store a couple of days ago, there's at least 1 still there.

Haha, no but I've been in a lot lately! A very helpful assistant helped find the stock code and let me take a picture of the screen as I thought it would be useful. Hopefully it won't get anyone in trouble!
Just a note to everyone if it just seems to randomly cut out or won’t come on check the humidity in the house. It did this to us and it turns out the humidity was at 50% and no matter what setting you put it on it won’t take it lower than that as that’s about the ideal amount of humidity. It just cuts out immediately if the humidity is at 50% or lower

I think it only does that if it's on automatic.

That’s what I thought but it seems to do it on low and high on ours. Will try again. They way it cuts out though it makes you think it’s dead as no lights remain on just the fan until that switches off as well
