I've been looking into getting more filament for my printer.
This seems a good price, albeit the colour, but it can be painted!

Other colours are available at varying prices...

Same day delivery available too, so I will be getting this delivered today.

If anyone has any other sources for 3D printer filament, I'd be glad to know!

  • Full 1 kg, approximately 335 m of filament on each spool

Been trying to get the green primavalue filament to print - only 2/3 reel to go before I can use the reel to make storage.

Make of it what you will, but I won't be buying anymore primavalue carp

Is it not that good? What printer do you have?

I have the Creality CR-10s, and just coming to end of the PLA that came with it...I have other PLA on order too, but wanted something sooner!
Where do you suggest buying filament from?
Prints on my Anet A8 fine once you get correct settings and printer is dialed in. Voted hot.

Their filament is pretty good on a budget and have a warehouse on the UK (you can collect from if you are near)

PS I use to use Prima until they put the price up, didnt find Prima Value to be as good.

I have 4 Printers an AM8 a Kossel Delta a CR10 and a homemade coreXY. I have tried to use it on all 4 using Cura, Simplify and Craftware slicers without success. I will not let it beat me(until I can use the spool).

I always use RigidInk - its expensive but faultless, for my good prints and try various other 'brands'. Geetech is quite good but my search for cheaper Rigid replacement goes on HTH
isupply3d.com Have some 700g spools PLA at £6 each
If you want reliable filament at low prices, my experiences with Hatchbox have been good.
Wheres cheap for northern ireland delivery
any suggestions for ABS? the stuff i just bought is dog

I've had good success with the primavalue dark grey on a wanhao i3. 205-210 extruder temp, I haven't pushed it too fast though mind.
Not been impressed with Prima filament. Caused blockages and bad layering

Same so far with my select mini, but I'm a newbie I think running 210 extruder, 55 bed.

If you're not too fussed with colour, pink(!) ROBO 3D filament (PLA, 1.75mm) is up for £10.06 on Amazon (Prime) at the moment. amazon.co.uk/Rob…JSA
Other colours also available for not much more.

Good reviews on the brand on Amazon.com - ordered 2 rolls of white and grey last week which were also at the same price at that time.

Thanks jak, ordered. I'm new to printing so I don't mind getting a few bad prints at this price

There still seems to be 3.00mm filament on Amazon, but there's barely any 1.75 now. Looks bad, I have to admit.

What do you currently use?

i'm trying out amz3d which is sub-£20 level and if that's no good, i'll fork out for some 3dfilaprint which is supposed to be excellent (and a uk company) for about £24/kilo.

Quick update on the Robo3D PLA (though price has now gone up) - excellent prints and absolutely no issues on my FlashForge Finder - would highly recommend based on the 2 prints I've made thus far.

FYI, this was with the 'Pearl' PLA - have just ordered a further roll

I've just printed this using the filament from this deal.

I've yet to check it out properly as I left it printing overnight... So far, it looks pretty good! It's still sat at home (image from my mounted camera)

Those wanting to know what it is, it's a tool holder that sits on the top of the power supply... See below for example
