A Hive Active Heating upgrade to control additional heating zones from your mobile, tablet and laptop

excellent price to add an extra zone to your heating system.

Also if you already have an echo plus, a hive multizone is enough and you can save money on the hive starter set currently 119 as you don't need the hub.

You're quire right but it's not an upgrade in anything other than the way it looks and that's debateable

Can you hardwire these thermostats? Don’t fancy buying batteries for approx 10 zones (!)

They come with batteries which last about a year. you won't be able to hardwire it.

Do you have controllable TRVs in all zones? I looked into it but it's damn expensive!

Does this come with a receiver as well??
I have hive already and just want to change the old white thermosate to this newer one.

yes
1 x Hive Active Heating thermostat
1 x Receiver
4 x AA alkaline batteries
1 x Wall fixings

I am being really dim but I am about to move into a house with normal thermostat downstairs and then there is a separate thermostat in the master bedroom, am I right in saying with one of these I would put this in the master bedroom and have a main Hive with all the gubbins replacing the main thermostat downstairs?

The current thermostats etc. are all brand new so if I am assuming right it could just be a swap over? If anyone could confirm would be appreciated?

It is just a swap over. If it was me I would not buy the main Hive and just buy these plus an echo plus for 109 as then you'd also have an echo which has a built in hub

OOS ITS £139

Not really, I’m specc-ing up wet underfloor heating in my house and have 14 zones that need thermostats! Quite liked the hive ones but it’ll get very annoying to change batteries in them.
