Paid just £57 delivered for New on ebay last week
The hype for these has left the building!
As the person above said you might as well check eBay as loads will be going cheap due to idiots buying a million to make £1 profit on each one after fees

True. I used to sell on eBay. It was too much stress and effort. I was a big seller. I was selling for the cheapest price on eBay but I still had people complain all the time

When you make £100 on eBay you are like wow and super happy. Then when you look back at fees and postage you think too yourself why bother

Oh and if you was like me you was always worried and having panic attacks every time someone requested a refund. I feel like people where scamming me because they knew I wasn't using tracking

I've only sold one thing on there, a Phil Collins Vinyl LP album for my mam, forgot to put a reserve and it went for 99p, she nearly kicked my head in lol

Same here. Do everything for cash on gumtree now. Far easier. And no fees.
It's funny how the hype for these is falling as the stock increases.

Maybe Nintendo should have kept limiting stock to keep the demand up.
i got one on release. played it for about 5mins. got bored.
flashed it when available. played for about 5mins. got bored.
At least my Retro Pi lasted about 30mins before getting bored.

yup + you need to pay paypal a slice & now they always side with the seller.
I sold some ram - buyer said it didnt work. Ebay refunded him & he never returned the Ram.
I just shop Amazon & Aliexpress now.
Don’t even deliver to my area on prime now..no good to me

Well said and so true as i have always said so many idiots falling for the hype with this console, i was about 15 at the time of the first arcade coin ops and played some the other day good for about 20 mins then it got very boring .

The exact same thing happened to me, I can't imagine even if you paid for tracked delivery and insurance that you would ever get your money back in a Paypal dispute as a seller.. hence why most people are swaying towards Gumtree and Facebook now

Thank you guys for your comments and Heat on my first post!
Glad I never bought. I only like playing the retro SF when the brother comes round, as soon as he puts on any other retro game in bored asf after 5 mins
Pretty steep price for what it offers imo.i would rather double it and get a shield TV that has much more uses, future proof etc although emulated games.

First post and I get a double top post, win win haha.
Did you buy one? If you have get Hakchi install a long with a s%#t load of games to keep you busy for a while.
Price isn’t hot but having it in stock is. I bought this a couple days ago. Would prefer the Nes Mini because it has load more games for the price. Would cost a fortune to source all the original games & console & pads now though in good condition. Nice little nostalgia trip at a cost.
Muppets!!!! Hahaha

No, Nintendo did the right thing. They kept preorder stock to a minimum to make everyone preorder not meeting demand then released in batches with a warning that there would be plenty of stock knowing profiteers would buy up stock to sell and now they have flooded the stores with stock.
Better yet download an emulator

Wouldn't that make million pounds profit. Not so stupid to me.
You're better off buying a Raspberry PI loaded with a load of emulators for a similar price £99-£149 and buying a nes case or snes case for the PI

I bought two when they first came out @£70 each (for selling on) and flipped them collectively for £270 after modding. Sold one on ebay, one on gumtree both pick ups so fees + postage weren't that much of an issue.

Not retiring to the bahamas money, but still a nice little profit.
OOS 😭

I assure you that I would have no idea what to do with a Raspberry Pi and a load of emulators. But I appreciate your point.

Opted for one of these for Xmas. Looking forward to delving into a world of older titles that my family will all be able to play!

Shame that this is the best form factor though, I would have paid about £30 for a European SNES case for the Raspberry Pi but they are rare and tend to be choppy 3D printed affairs.
Ooh reading all these makes me nervous! I bought on release date for my other half who was desperate for one (he’s a 36 year old child ) hope it’s half decent! Will find out Christmas Day I suppose!

Take no notice. I'm sure he'll love it.
This was fun 25 years ago, not anymore. Played on a mates recently, it's cr@p
I love retro games and I got one of these after missing out on the NES version last year. I played it for less than 5 minutes, the graphics are terrible.
Then i saw the copy NES ones from China for £20 with 500 games, I thought £20 was not much to lose and it still looked cool so I bought one. It is far better than the snes one, graphics look better, loads of games and a fifth of the price.
Anybody charging over £80 should be locked up!

If my wife bought me one (I’m 42) I’d be overjoyed. She bought me a black and decker work mate last year...
Be better to buy a raspberry pi for 30 quid and play all the retro games....
