What do puffer fish taste like? (He is a puffer fish isn't he?)

Just on the off chance that you're serious: No, he's a clownfish.

Clown.

80g had me thinking it was full size!

I was rather hoping it would be the full size ones, but those cans are about 120g, some 50% bigger, 3 of these for £1 would be comparable to paying 50p per can for those larger tins, so maybe not as cheap as that 'no drain' stuff at Asda, but a good price and it's often handy to have some smaller tins in the cupboard.

You're not comparing like with like. These aren't no-drain; these are in spring water. The large tins in spring water are 185g (not 120g!). These 80g tins at 33p each work out at 77p for a full size tin, which is quite expensive.....

if you look on mysupermarket per 100g the cheapest you will find is this
Was £1.24 Now £1.00
(54.1p / 100g)
Princes Tuna Chunks in Brine (185g)

in this pack you get 3x80g tins which is 240g so if you work it out is is more than 10p per 100g cheaper.

It doesn't sound like mysupermarket is doing a very good job! Tesco, for example, has lots of Prince's deals at the moment at about 40p/100g, and Tesco own brand even cheaper. But this is what I'd call a NORMAL offer price for Tuna (i.e. around 70p for a full size tin). I usually wait for it to be 50p/tin. Asda was was actually recently selling full size tins at about 32p - In other words the equivalent of 3 x FULL SIZE tins for 94p....... That's a lot cheaper than this deal.

offers gone that will never return, with poundland this deal will be here for months
