Bottom of the league table - 11th place - according to Greenpeace.

"John West
  • They promised 100% sustainable tuna by 2016 – so far they’ve managed 2%. They show little intention to change.
  • John West’s owners, Thai Union, have been linked to human rights abuses in their seafood supply chains
  • They must stop using unsustainable fishing methods that catch sharks, endangered turtles and other creatures"

Full table is: -

1. Waitrose.
2. M&S

4. Tesco
5. Aldi
6. Asda
7. Morrisons
8. Co-op.

Any manufacturer that catches turtles doesn't get my money even if it was 10p a can.

Somehow, that still seems expensive for Burnley, where you can get a house for 10k.
Woah that's as cheap as balls! Just come here to post the same 6 pack for £4 in Farmfoods.
Will get some for my 'Brexit Box'! 🏼
Isn't this just cat food grade tuna?
Is this albacore, yellowfin or skipjack tuna?

Spring water?

Advantage of less salt than brine at cost of less shelf life.

But this deal is for Princes Tuna... everything you have quoted refers to John West?

No sign of this deal in my local Asda (they had it for £4 previously, then when it dropped to £3 elsewhere the display was removed).
Great price to stock up before brexit

Why do you say that?

These large multi packs don't seem to be up to the quality of the smaller multi packs, or even single tins.
None in Maesteg don't do 6 can multi pack

Just protein to us bodybuilders doesnt matter the grade or if its swept off the floor if its cheap i am 'avin it!
6 cans is just a days worth of eating!

Just making a point.....princes tuna flakes, single can, same weight as these are 50p per tin in asda. They always have been. "Everyday low price" 6x50= £3...... much cheaper than the usual multi packs but buying single is always cheaper

Yeah true point. My bad.
You have more chance of seeing a Tuna walking down Camden High Street wearing a top hat and tails then actually being able to find this deal instore anywhere, ASDA have no centralised ability to check stock availability in stores, which means you have to phone each store individually, if you can actually get through to a person then you have to explain, taking methodical care to get them to understand itis the "6 Tin Family pack for £3" and no other version that you're after, even then you can guarantee as often as not they'll say something like oh yes we have the four tine pack for £3.50 in stock.

Seriously ASDA, this is bait and swicth (see what I did there) at it's very best.
