They've been £2.03 since the VAT went back up to 17.5%
They'll be even more expensive in January 2011 with the 20% VAT!

It's good to learn how to use commas, especially if you want to help your uncle, Jack, off a horse.

They haven't been this cheap for ages. Hot.

They haven't increased the price. They've been £2.03 since January!

there isnt usually VAT on food(complicated exceptions)

sorry but these aren't worth 2 quid its just a pricing trick I see these 'half price' all the time. It's still a decent deal however and there certainly worth 68p.

£2.02 for a bag of crisps
I think i'm in the wrong business

Voted cold, purely for the price manipulation. £2.03 indeed! They're taking us all for chumps.

Besides, 68p per tube isn't even that great considering you have to buy 3. How this ever got to 630 degrees I'll never know.

yup- anyone paying 2.03 for a pot of pringles is nuts! - especially as once you pop, you can't stop... you'll have no money left in no time!

68p works out as a good price from the deal - but as others have said it's not really a buy one get two free offer as the price is well overinflated!!!!!!

In Tesco's they're half price, at 99p - so that means when they aren't, they're £2.

You get two free when you buy them for the standard price at Sainsburys. Three tubes for £2! Compare that to Tescos, or the usual cost of Pringles and it's a bit of a bargain when you think about it, I can't see why people fail to see that this is a pretty hot deal.

However, I don't really like Pringles - so the missus can go bother getting them if she fancies any

Regardless of whether they've increased the regular price or not, getting them fo 68p a pot is still a bargain.

Pringles are £1 at Adsa

Usual price £1.64 not over £2 LOL!

i told you its much more complicated than junk food = vat:

Tortilla chips, corn chips, bagel chips, cocktail cheese savouries and Twiglets®. Prawn crackers made from tapioca
Savoury snacks consisting of sliced and dried or roasted vegetables other than potatoes for example beetroot, carrot etc
Roasted pulses and legumes, for example chick peas and lentils=0%vat

Potato crisps, potato sticks, potato puffs, and similar products including those made from a combination of potato starch or flour and cereal flour if the end product has the taste and texture of a potato product .Prawn crackers made from cereals (but not unpackaged prawn crackers, for example, those supplied in unsealed bags as part of a takeaway meal) = 17.5% vat

doritos =0% walkers=17.5%

Pringles over priced rubbish, but as this IS the best price for them in the big supermarkets voted hot!

We all know the pricing tricks and don't need lessons on it, the final price is the only factor to consider here....if you like Pringles that is

Pringles over priced rubbish

how very dare you

regardless of how it is marketed. The fact that the price per box is averaging just under 70p is defo a hot deal.

Sir, i concur. Horrid, processed rubbish and extremely overpriced, even at this price. You are paying for crisp uniformity and the stupid tube. Marketing Marketing Marketing.

Since when does a pack of Pringles cost £2.03 in the first instance?

I can't understand why people have hijacked the deal by arguing the usual price of a tube or the quality (I use that term loosly) of Pringles.

For those out there that love Pringles, which is why most probably clicked on this deal then 68p a tube is a huge discount on what they'd usually pay.

Of course, most people shopping at Sainsburys only go their to buy milk and bread so would frown at having to fork out over £2 on nibbles during their visit.

Nice One :-)

hot

Nice I need some beer chips

wonder what will ofcom sorry ofwat no sorry rspca oh np sorry ofsted gotta to say about this price manipulation

or was it watchdog

Excellent deal!!!

Voted hot as 68p is a good deal regardless of price manipulation.

However, i do agree, that most places don't sell them at over £2 (even if this is RRP) - the majority of places tend to sell them at around £1.50 per tube and often less!
