Pound sign goes before the number.

wellcome to HUKD
thanks for posting, but I would suggest you edit the title stating what it is (Pringles?)

always on offer so anyone paying the full price is a fool....

This is prob why people are voting cold

Why are they called chips? Aren't they actually crisps?
What happened to localisation? We are not Americans.

The pack size has been downsized and the price increased.

They were often 89p at full pack size.

These are expensive if you consider you can buy multipack crisps - 10 packs for £1 and a greater weight than these. Even Walkers 10 packs for £1 when on offer.

Poor deal!

also £1 in asda and only 99p in morrisons i think.

They are not made of sliced potatoes. I'm not even sure if they are on the same VAT rating as crisps.

I thought all junk food had same VAT rate?

I might be misremembering it but a lot of things have different rates Jaffa cakes went to court over the fact they were a cake and not a biccy.

VAT is 20%. The brand owner claimed they were did not have enough potato content and were VAT excempt. They lost and guess what... the price was not increased. They wanted to claim they were VAT exempt and and pocket the perceived VAT. Less potato, so why so expensive? Junk foood at its best!

Arn't chips made from potato? How do Pringle qualify?
