Build and Manage A Maximum Security Prison.

Prison Architect is the world's latest Prison Management Sim. Starting with an empty plot of land you must construct a holding cell with basic water and electricity to house your first batch of prisoners, to buy you enough time to create a proper cell block. You'll need to hire some guards, get some showers built and unless the kitchen is up and running with chefs working away you're going to end up with a riot on your hands. From there you take your prison in which-ever direction you like. A monsterous super-max or comfortable center for rehabilitation, the choice is up to you.

Great price, well worth £3.99.

great deal op, heat given

Great game, would have got now if I hadn't have bought in a humble bundle a few months ago.

Great game - a very under rated sim.
If you like management games, don't be put off by the graphics, it really is worth playing.

What a horrible premise. xx

I'd normaly steer people away from early access and pre-ordering but this is legit. Fun game and It'll only get better with mods, been really fun watching it evolve so far, the dev diary Youtube videos are pretty good too.

Great game. Good to see they've finally finished it, very addictive.

No one can escape this price. Praise our glorious Lord & Saviour. #PCMR

Have they FINISHED it?!

crabby

I found it very boring and buggy.
I was hoping for something Theme Hospital style, but I found the pace slow and a lot of micromanaging.
Its akin to Papers Please different and worth trying, but not for everyone.

can i put this on my macbook and how much space will it take up ?

*Rushes in to finally purchase at this brilliant price....

"Your account already owns some of the above items, so you can’t purchase them again."

Can't even remember what I've already bought anymore X)

Could always look at the system requirements at the bottom of the page linked to.
As you don't say what "Macbook" not like anyone can tell you really

Wow great price.... This is one of the early access games that should be purchased. That and Kerbal Space Program.

I paid the full price and would have paid double, so £3.99 is a steal.

If your bored of playing the standard games out there, try this one! You will thank me afterwards

Great game, definitely worth getting for this price.

I didn't like this game at all. Find it boring. "Paper Please" was even worse.
I should stop buying over hyped indie games.

nice-new

don't be silly its a computer game not real life .

Great price, shame I can't get it working on my surface

Introversion really are quite brilliant. Having said that, I bought this not long after release, found it incredibly buggy and never touched it since. Judging form the above chat I should get it downloaded and try again. Can't be any worse than Galactic Cvilization 3's utterly dreadful performance anyway.

Gone Home is beautiful great atmosphere and soundtrack and 90s nostalgia

Gone Home is beautiful

I recently played through Gone Home, I disliked it. It delivers a different story than you expect, which I wouldn't normally mind (because subversion of tropes is one of the reasons I like to play indie titles) except in this case it's manipulative and unnecessary. Unless there's a point or deconstruction I missed to justify the difference between the initial tone and the final tone (which there may well be, in which case enlighten me), I'd say it's a hollow experience. Reminded me of an M. N. Sham-a-llama movie.

That said, the ACTUAL text of the final story (as opposed to the meta subtext) is really interesting. Avoiding other adjectives to avoid too many spoilers.

One of the more enjoyable indie games I've played in recent years, was an early backer of it and can honestly say I've got more than my moneys worth out of it. Not something I can say for many "triple A" titles these days.

It has a spooky atmosphere because you're wandering around an empty house at night. That's all they're really trying to convey with the tone. I agree with you partially in that I think it was a mistake to include the tiny subplot with the ancestor that went nowhere as that gave the wrong idea about the tone at one point but as a whole I thought it was great and would like to see more discovery games like this.

I was quite suprised to see it down at this price in the sale, I bought it ages ago for around £15 and have bought copies for other people in previous sales for around £10, so think this price is a steal.

If you ever thought about taking a look at this game, it's almost a no-brainer to get it at this price, and there is still more dev to come for it.

Great game, been playing it for months, people just need to remeber its still in Alpha testing though.

I've read some really interesting interpretations about that ancestor subplot which feeds into a larger narrative. Google "Gone Home analysis" or check out it's TvTropes.org page.

Like I said, I enjoyed the plot for the most part, just not so much the execution.

Have you tried The Stanley Parable?

Was heading to buy it earlier. Then I noticed the 'in library' banner. Too many unplayed games but I keep buying more....

"work camp"?

I bought this yesterday and played it all bloody day, got me into trouble with the missus and kept me up until nearly 5am lol

Had it less than 24 hours and already clocked up 11 hours play. My first prison got to about 60 inmates before a mass riot got too out of control and I had no money to call more SWAT teams, the second one is still going and got 80 cells although the cracks are starting to appear!

There is still a wealth of depth that I've not even scratched the surface yet.

cool wee game although once you've build 3 or 4 prisons it gets boring quickly imo

still hot for this price

I have played the original version of The Stanley Parable and that was really creepy and sinister. Then I played the demo of the new version on Steam and it's all jokey and Monty Python so that is something that has really changed it's tone!

Great game bought on the same deal a month ago. Nice to see some original games on the PC.

Have some heat for this game which is absolutely cracking found myself playing it for quite a few hours after the old ill only play for about half hour

Why can't I buy it? No option?
