Used the phone for 2 weeks as a company phone, is a good phone (nice LG software features, finger print unlock is an actual button on the rear of the phone, decent camera, one of the best screens) but there is a big BIG disadvantage with the poor battery life. I couldn't go for an hour listening to MUSIC while browsing with 50% battery, it would have to be fully charged to last half a day so I had to fully charge the phone twice in a day to have a basic use which was really annoying. So it might be a good deal in terms of price but no no for the phone...
That sounds pretty pish for the battery. I quite fancied it and great price...

LG G6 review: Battery lifeThe G6 is powered by a 3,300mAh battery; that might sound a decent size, but it kept the phone going for a mediocre 12hrs 52mins in our battery test. The Google Pixel managed 16hrs 23mins in the same test, while the Galaxy S7 kept on trucking for an impressive 17hrs 48mins.

On the upside, thanks to its Snapdragon 821 architecture, the LG G6 supports Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3, which will let you charge it up to around 50% in 30 minutes. A fast charger is included in the box, along with a USB Type-C cable and earphones.
Any one know if this runs dolphin the game cube emulator well?
Bought mine at Xmas brand new for 370 off john Lewis. Advantage of JL 2 year warranty even though it has an LG 2 yr warranty. Gr8 phone. Love the wide angle lens. Battery isnt gr8. But are any?. Depends on usage and where u r. Im never far from a power socket. I don't believe any of the manufacturers want us having great batteries that last long. At this price i would buy if it is 'pristine'.
This looks like a good deal to me. Snapdragon 821 must be decent since the number is high, which is about all I know about snapdragons.
Snapdragons are very firery, and will snap your fingers off if you get too close!
You're welcome.

That’s a shame - we usually hear that android has a superior battery to iPhone - anyone know what this is so poor?
Lovely phone, ive had a couple and they really are nicely made, look good and ( as for the measley battery ) last a fairly decent full day - the 821 helps. Screens lovely too, all LOVELY!
Just got G6 and battery life is really good for me. Overnight I only lose about 5%. Lasts a whole day without any issues. I guess it all depends how you use your phone?
i bought the 64gb G6 last year and i love it, battery lasts me all day and i use the phone quite a lot.
Would this be enough of an upgrade from my g4 which is still going strong?

I wouldn't think so.. the g4 is pretty good!.
I have a G5 and I can't tell tell the difference much between the G4 or G6!.

I'm upgrading my LG g4 to the Nokia 7plus. Would have been very tempted by this g6 though. Cracking price. Nokia has bigger battery and stock android which swayed it for me.
I believe android 7.1 gave phones a decent battery boost the g6 is still on 7.0 but is finally getting an update to 8.0 in the next 60 days.

I love my 64gb quad daq g6 from asia but will be upgrading to oneplus 6 soon

The g6 is a great phone tho
For the price yes that's great, however, LG aren't known for quick software updates. I had a V20 and it was still running 7.0 , battery wasn't great either so got rid of it. I will miss the wide angle camera and dac

G4 won't be receiving updates anymore but the G6 will. I went from a G4 to a V30 and the difference is, quite frankly, amazing. You can tell that the G4 is over 2 years old when you use one after the other - the software for one thing is vastly improved. Especially after the 8.0 update.

Was the dac good? I was looking to pick up a cheap one of these, as the specs are still pretty good, and I think I preferred it over the V30.

Yeah it was good, powerful to run demanding headphones. What put me of with LG was the slowness of updating software. I liked the removable battery, wide angle Cam, DAC. I will wait and see what V40 will be like, might come bk who knows.

They're also a pretty flower!

I looked at the Nokia but it's more than I want to pay really.
Only thing that put me off this g6 is the 90 day warranty, a year warranty and I'd have bought.

Surely it will still have remainder of LG 2 year warranty?
