I think Tesco Mobile are the only ones that charge for it now, but as I said previously, irrelvant given that this runs on Android and not BB7/BB10.

2 years newer, agree... but 4.5" display is killing it...

Largely irrelvant if you use a Bluetooth speaker and/or headphones.

I'm not going to lose sleep because of 0.9 inches. What currently kills it is the high start price. Should have been £299 from the off.

Great price shame its running Lollypop, holding out for a Black Friday deal on a KeyOne.

No it wasn't a micky take, I was genuinely suprised, I thought they had gone the way of the dinosaurs.

He should write what he meant then. The target market of BlackBerrys don't prioritse audio.

Not always applicable that theory: Apple iPhone X a case in point.

Sure - but it's still overpriced for what is a two year old phone.

Same, I honetsly thought they had closed for good.

I am/was a die-hard BlackBerry user - first was the 9700 and then everything in between. The keyboard (PQK) just nailed it for speed and accuracy. Had the PRIV too, just found it a little too big and cumbersome and the 808 SoC was sluggish and inefficient. The KEYOne should have been the answer - instead it had a dog slow SoC and TCL didn’t bother gluing the screen onto it.

Anyway, for me that means the PRIV is still the best BB offering with a PQK and at this price is a bargain if you need this. Since I gave up on the KEYOne, I’ve really missed having proper push email, there are partial solutions but the BlackBerry was the best in my opinion - even tempted to go back to the Classic

No thread is too obscure for the android fanbois to get some Apple hate in !

Having owned both, agreed that the Priv was better for watching video on, but given it overheated when playing games and never got an Android 7 update so couldn't do multi-window, video was literally all the extra screen space was good for. Do not miss it on the keyone.

SD808, a mobile BBQ.

Hate? Nothing to do with that. There's nothing that a £1k X can do that a £549 S8 can't.

Nothing warrants paying that premium unless you want to impress one's vain friends.
