I have two of these and they do not work very well. Best avoid in my opinion or you'll be wasting your money.
Can't fault mine - no issue for over an year and decided it is a time for another , but made me think cancelling the order
You mean the ones that don't work when the temperature is as low as it normally is in Britain?
When temperatures are really cold, I used to find these Peltier devices would freeze up and ice formed on the tiny 'radiator' type thing, so the machine stopped working.
I'm yet to understand what's behind all their reviews. This dehumidifier is an absolute Toy.
Don't get excited with the energy consumption, as a real dehumidifier would do a better job for less at the long run.
Definitely !!!
I was just using one as a cheap-ish example, even though they have their limitations they'll still perform miles better than one of these. Ideally you'd have a desiccant model, we have a couple of EcoAir models and they're excellent.
