Nice looking Japanese knife set for Christmas. Not sure how long the deal lasts but seemed good for anyone looking for a new set for Christmas or as a present.

£32 + £3.95 for delivery.

A small number of reviews but all rating 5 out of 5.

Looks like £19 + delivery for same set with no stand, with 4.4 out of 5 stars reviews - over 100 reviews.
We had this exact set from a Procook outlet. Just to warn people the blade only goes into the handle with a tiny piece of metal so any force cutting etc will cause the handles to break. Over time the handles will fall off anyway. We paid £25 from the outlet store. Honestly a rip off at that price. They look beautiful, shame they aren't very durable
We got gifted these a few years ago. Don't bother IMO.

Not full tang, wood finish is ... average ... blade finish is okay though. Using this block for magnetic function works, but, you're better off with a fixed rail on the wall as it won't be unstable (which this one can if not careful). Not particularly good to use.

Other block sets for same money are better value in our experience, but prefer buying good, single blades with full tang and better handles.

Beat me by 13 seconds - glad I wasn't the only one who found this.
Don't look worth the money .
You're lucky ProCook deals normally go freezing I personally like them, but these knives handles are too small for me.
I paid £10 for these from the outlet without the stand and they are rubbish... wouldn't recommend
Only 1 year guarantee for a quality set of knives? Hmmmm................
Blade is carbon steel, so is great to hold a sharp edge, but do take care of it if you want it to last - no leaving it in the sink or the dishwasher. Block works really well for any carbon steel knife (as opposed to cheap stainless steel ones). When I purchased I read all the reviews - mostly really positive as am I with the purchase - A bargin at this price
Mmm HotUKDeals always criticising a saving. Well £35.95 for 4 knifes even if they only last a year seems a good deal to me. Light in hand sharp and better than the Jamie Oliver coloured set I was bought.

Not a good deal when you consider the cost (both economic and environmental) of production and similarly the cost of disposal. Cheap to buy usually means there is a bigger cost to be paid somewhere along the line
