Powerful 20" chrome fan to help with the upcoming hot weather. CPC Farnell are selling this quite a bit cheaper than Amazon (£54.95 and only 7 left at time of posting) and next day delivery is included in the price.

I checked all similar sized fans from all the usual places (B&Q, Amazon, Argos etc) and this stood out as it is 200 watts rather than 90 to 120 watts. Also it gets good reviews.

It comes fully assembled and is ready to go.The noise level seems fine on the lowest setting but obviously quite a bit louder on full blast. This thing moves a lot of air, even on the lowest setting, so should help cool the house down quickly if placed by an open door/window to pull in some cooler air.

They have over 2000 currently in stock at the time of posting.

The link for £34 ish is the same link but WITHOUT the delivery costs. Why?
Something you can use for maybe 2 weeks a year?

Yes, that's true.
Ours sits in the spare room quietly gathering dust inside it's inards for most of the year, which you can't get to and remove.

Still, it soon clears itself once activated 😁

CPC has a few different prices for a lot of their items, they do 'trade' catalogues and special offer brochures and just use slightly different codes for the same items. If you look you'll see it's got a 61 on the end, chances are that will work on select other items too. But good luck finding them from the 6468536897534689 items they stock.

You'll get the choice of free slow or quicker £3 post with both items.

I have a large unit like this & it really does pay for itself in hot weather, sit it just outside of the room corner & point it at the ceiling, turn it on & pretty much the whole room will get decent breeze rather than a cool spot.

Mine sits at the bottom of the stairs on a granite floor & sucks up air to fire up the stairs at night time when the upstairs hits 30c from baking all day.

Tempted to get another via the farnell link (appreciated) ours when not in use hangs on a bit of bent metal dried out & screwed to the wall, where it can also fire 30 ft down the hallway from a cooler room, either way I wouldn't be without it
Do sweep the floor of all pet hairs & get rid of any unused cobwebs (we like spiders & they hit flying insects that wander in hard, so don't kill em, appreciate them!

Wow nice spot friend!

Have grabbed one to replace a 12 year old John Lewis 130 watt model, will be interesting to see the difference with this 200 watt beast!

Main use is Smoke Dispersal - for when I'm cooking toast!
