Saw this on the back of the CPC magazine which came through my door. The same 2 kilowatt radiator was posted on here for £27.52 a few months ago and now it's even lower at £25.20. Compared with the likes of ASDA and Argos's equivalent radiators this utterly blows them away.

How is it better?

2kw wouldn't that suck a lot of electrics ?

Can't help but think a lot of places would charge that for delivery of something that heavy

About 2kw :-)
I use the Delonghi ones as I've had them for sometime - and these have 3 settings (RED/AMBER/GREEN) which varies the amount of power used. So I heat a room as required on RED (Full) then amend the power down to Amber or Green to maintain heat … As they are oil based they keep heat for sometime even when turned off.

Some average Wattages stolen from InterWeb thingy (2kw = 2000W):
Appliance Minimum Maximum
100W light bulb 100W 100W
25" colour TV 150W 150W
3" belt sander 1000W 1000W
60W light bulb 60W 60W
9" disc sander 1200W 1200W

Desktop Computer 50W 150W
Dishwasher 1200W 1500W
Electric Blanket 200W 200W
Electric Kettle 2000W 2000W
Electric Mower 1500W 1500W

Fridge / Freezer 500W 500W
Hair Blow dryer 1000W 1000W
Home Air Conditioner 1000W 1000W

warmlite are better. excellent radiators though

Initially yes, but as they are thermostat controlled and hold heat very well, they are probably only using electricity for 20 mins in the hour. I have one and it's very efficient.

Can't say I know much about the delonghi brand but I brought 2 beldray 1500w rads and both 24hr timers were broke on them, so I would stay away from those beldray rads with the timers.

Good to know these are very efficient, thanks.

What's the difference between the Delonghi and this one? I'm currently using a halogen heater sparingly (1 x 400w bar) in an attic room so this might be a better option.

Bargain. I paid a lot more for a 1.5kw one like this from argos

Decent price.

Heat added.
