Does the PC now get the full current gen graphics or are they still cut down like the last few editions?

After 10 years of seeing these comments on here and disagreeing, I actually agree!

Absolutely. I was always a PES fanboy, until it went crap and I had to adapt to FIFA.
2017 was excellent as well (besides the inverted crosses).
This was £7.99 at GMG a few weeks back, the only thing that stopped me buying was the apparent problems with fouls and cursor changing this year though.

It might be worth try, for that price though

This is the first time they have used the same engine as XB1/PS4.

There's a free-to-play version on Steam if anyone want to try it first.

Have to disagree, this year's pes isn't as good as last year for me. Hoping for another improvement next season
Yeah same for me still playing pes 2017, they somewhat sorted the fouls out in that one then messed it up again in 18
The big selling point for me with this game was that they seemed to bring the graphics up to console standard. Every version of PES i seemed to have on pc didnt look quite as polished as its console counterpart which often ruined the experience slightly for me.
First PES since they got their mojo back that I had to uninstall; before I burst a blood vessel with rage! The player selection and response times are diabolically bad, it's worse than last year's for sure.

Avoid.

PES 2017 was unplayable for me so still playing 2016.
Shame not for PS4 as would have bought. Have the free version on PSN store. More scripted than ever this version and starting to bring in micro transaction which you have to grind forever for or pay money. Getting more like FIFA every year. Still better than FIFA though. I've found sticking to the lower team stars gives less scripting. On previous editions the division mode didn't have scripting. Enjoyed an 80% win ratio on that mode. Unfortunately that's not available on the free version only my club. Which is like ultimate team. Biggest downfall again is cheating. Been able to cheat for many years on PES and they still don't fix it. Very frustrating.
I feel like firing up my PS2 and playing a few old PES versions

I bought PES 5 and 6 on PC. You could mod it with more stadiums, new Leagues/Teams and new faces too, those were the days.
