I picked one of these up today as a gift but ended up using it for my own shopping, I found it to be strong and it held a lot of shopping.

What makes it so good is that it clips to the inside of your shopping trolley so when you are at the checkout and your stuff has been scanned you just place your haul back in the trolley with no need to get in a fuss with carrier bags.

Saves time at the checkout and also from the trolley to the car/bus or even hoverboard.

There is even a little pocket inside you could use to keep your shopping list or vouchers in.

I'm not sure if it's a feature in all of these but there was a little silver plastic token inside the purse bit which I think you could use as a trolley token.

100% Woven Polyester if you care

I purchased one when these were £1.50 in Home Bargains. Great for shop and scan. However it's very heavy when filled so is only useful when you use it to transport things in a car. It's will be too heavy to carry on the bus/hook onto the pram when filled. HTH's.

Only if you fill it with heavy stuff seriously though I used mine on the bus and what I will say is the handle can be uncomfortable but I did have a lot of tins and milk in there.
I can certainly reccomend this for bulky packs of loo roll or nappies etc.
I would also avoid hooking bags on a pram, not only because it voids your warranty but it's so easy for it to tip them.
I've found that mine don't stretch and clip across the trolley very well but had lots of heavy things in and was strong enough to transport from car to home.
Good find OP. Thank you
I will look out for these - they sound great.
I would not worry about the weight ,but transfer the heaviest items to another shopping bag at the car
Let's see if I've got the handle on this: it's a bag, you can put stuff that you buy in it, it's quite heavy, it has a pocket and an immitation pound coin, it costs a quid, it can be given as a gift, or bought for selling on ebay at a huge mark-up. What an utterly brilliant concept. Where has this been all my life? Did I miss an episode of Dragon's Den? I'm so looking forward to seeing my missus' overjoyed face when she receives hers on the 25th. Sold. Heat from me. Obviously.
My mum had these bags at least 25 years ago. Not sure why they arent more popular.
no good on my hoverboard then!
Sounds good but we just use our big blue IKEA bags.
I got some when hb had them last year but went back to tesco big bags I prefer my bags to sit in the trolley so u can pack things better as you shop in tesco with shop scan with the ops bags they didn't reach the bottom of the trolley so you can't pack tight together
I bought one of these exactly the same and found I couldn't get it to hook over the trolleys at two supermarkets the clip wasn't wide enough to click onto the metal. Then also I didn't overload it and found it unpleasant to carry as it has a big chunky handle that is meant to clip together but slight movement unlocks the handle then it pinches you thumbs down from me on the actual product. Maybe the official ones are better.
From the comments here, it sounds like these are best suited if you have a car ready to load the bags in to. Aldi were selling some similar bags a while ago, and when I tried to clip one (testing before buying) on to their trolley it didn't seem to fit so I didn't get any.
are these good for shoplifting
any advice welcome

Wow you're enthusiastic, I'm glad you like it AndyRoyd and your missus will love it but it's not the sort of gift I would suggest for the 25th. Wait untill Valentines Day.

If you use it for items that are not heavy you could carry it around the shops no problems,

Ha Comment was obviously tongue-in-cheek and you may have noticed I did vote hot, plus I may not really have a missus when the Andy of AndyRoyd can be an abbreviation of an obvious female name, or even AndyRoyd may simply suggest I am not a fan of a fruit-based phone. Who knows...
