They're out of stock though & the code can't be used on store pick ups
That little ad says “quote at the till in-store” ^

I’m quite interested in there. Most of the little dumbells only go up to 20kg so this is pretty cool.
Thanks reserved! Any deals on extra Iron weights?
Can the code be use on all weights?
Bought the 50kg set and 4x10kg weights for £97
Is that deal listed on their site? Had a quick look, but couldn't see it.

Can you enter codes at the self service checkout?
You can enter the codes if you order online or at the store tell them WEIGHTS30

You'll deadlift and squat that one handed/footed after 6 months and be looking to buy an olympic set.
Dont worry! Im just setting up at home and will add more weight when i can!

Im not a newbie

Although, i was looking at the Olympic 100kg set for £148 delivered. What do you think?
And decent bench deals about?
What's the max weight can you put on the dumbbells in this package?
This isn't bad
Can you fit any branded weights onto these? So if I purchased York weights additionally they would fit?

Was trying to confirm this but can't find the diameters of the property power bar and dumbells.

I 'd imagine they're pretty standard

if anyones interested to know, I brought these today. The manually entered the code instore and didn’t seem to quibble at all. They didn’t actually type in the weights30 code though. I also brought a bit extra and got a £10 discount voucher. As for the bar and weights, it looks pretty study but I’m going to need more weights for the bar or I’ll be forever taking them off the dumbells and swapping them around. I’ve ended up with something like 20kg on the bar which is not much! Overall pretty good though! Thanks again. X)
Surely you can fit more than 4x5kg on the bar?????

I think 3glegecy means he's 20 left on the barbell after he's loaded the dumbbells.
Ok,
I have just had a thought... I am going in to collect the weight set and 2x10kg weights as one order so i get the £10 voucher.

Then i will buy another 2x10kg weights that i also reserved and use the voucher on them!

So...
£87.97 for the bars and 80kg of weights.

Not a bad idea! Don't really need more plates, but may see if I can get a deal on a kettle bell to do the same thing.

Any weights with a 1" diameter hole will fit, but not Olympic weights as they have a 2" diameter hole.

But you can buy adapter sleeves to convert a 1” diameter bar for use with 2” diameter Olympic weights

Yep nearly all branded "standard weights" will fit, the only exception I have found over the years are "Domyos" weights , the bar is a few mm thicker so other manufactures plates will not fit on.

And decent bench deals about?

I bought this of Amazon 12 months ago (BENCH) ace bench , brill reviews, has gone up a bit £64.99 now, was £59 but tends to go up and down, make sure you fit the seat the right way round (discussed in the reviews)

Just having a look on Argos and saw This, dont know if its been posted before (I could not find it) , pretty good as a starter package , a bench and 30kg of weight for under £50, even better if you can use WEIGHTS30 code.
The 50kg set has gone up to £79.99 now

probably , but just add more plates, you'd be surprised has much these standard bars can take, got an olympic set now, but used to keep my eye out in supermarkets as they often have plates for sale at 50p a kg , well cheap, I still have a standard bar converted with some drain pipe into a thick bar with 150kg of cheap supermarket plates on, I can afford posh kit now:) , but for people on a budget these deals are good.
Yeah im on a budget atm, but looking on ebay i would get my money back for what i just paid... Then i can order an olympic set.

Managed to get them all for £87.97 including the bars and 80kg of weights.. Thing is the store didnt recognise the WEIGHTS30 code so the manager had to give me 30% discount. Another thing, the collection point outside was closed due to building work and i had to do three trips to the car... 1000m each time, my arms are too weak to try them out for a few days LOL

Not a bad price, but would only bother if I were going the whole hog, ie squats and deads , then you will need heavy duty kit to go with it a, squat rack and a heavy bench.

If you havent got your kit sorted yet you can get some good deals at fitness superstore and others, when I bought my smith machine (£299) I got a 140kg Olympic set for £125.

On the other hand if you are doing a basic or intermediate routine the 50kg set with extra plates will be fine.

Yep, that’s what I meant I’m liking the barbell though, I’ve only had dumbells before and the bar opens up some new stuff for me to try. There’s actually a lot of room on the bar, I could fit more 5kg weights than I could lift

Picked this up from Argos today, got the Pro Power pushup bars for a quid after the 5 quid voucher. So all good.

The dumbbell you could potentially fit 6x5KG plates on which is a fair old weight. And the spinlocks hold very securely. Better than the plastic ones you get with the more expensive York barbell set.
Im looking for a pair of 15kg iron's if anyone has spotted any deals?
