To work the lower pecks you need to raise the bottom end or lower the top so the bench is in a decline position.

dude, just do the big three:

1.bench-press
2.dead-lift
3. squats (all the way down)

You can thank me later.;)

This listing has ended.

All 38 available sold apparently. Good Price though... shame I missed it.

I got this with 20KG weights + Dumbells for £55 in January, it's a good bench, pm me if you have any specific questions!

I wouldnt recommend anyone doing squats, messed my back up cause my technique was wrong.

I'll also take this chance to say to anyone new to weightlifting, DO NOT do bicep curls/isolation work, it will get you no muscle, Google Rippetoe, and Stronglifts 5x5 if you want muscle, and strength!

" cause my technique was wrong" exactly, it doesn't mean you shouldn't do squats - just learn to do them properly, that's like saying hey guys, don't drive a car, I was speeding and I crashed and broke my ribs, don't drive!

i wonder when people will stop posting tesco's errors on scanning and post some real deals like this .. execellent post ! thanks again ..

Just doing those would be less than optimal. Make sure to add rows, dips, chin ups and military presses into your training (and their different variations).

This is a great starting bench. Wouldn't chance putting 200kg on it tho :O

lol, you got any proof to back this up?

also what do you think are the best bicep exercises?

isolation work is best for gaining muscle, compound lifts for gaining strength.

errrr, £3k for a pro setup compared to £24.98 for a simple one - you need to breathe a little more when pushing those weights.

70kg of weights at home and a cheap bench like the one in this post. Plenty for chest, shoulder and isolation workouts. Gym twice a week for squats and deadlifts on the smith machine and a bit of cardio does me fine.

i said "you got any proof that isolation work = no muscles"

lol

i would say £1K for a proper setup brand new, £500+ for a second hand proper setup.

anything less than that is for part timers, or new years resolutioners who quit after 2 months

the bench is awful, i would not even let my 14 yr old bro use it

Sonny, for 3K you could subscribe to a gym for 10 years.
If you're spending that kind of money you must take it very seriously-so why not quit your day job and become a professional body builder?
