Anyone tried these are they any good? as im after a knife sharpener

bought one from amazon last month on the same sort of deal,..... they are excellent!!
sharpen almost anything:)

Will dis ready up ma 12" blade innit so i is safe to go out in da hood come dark an ting ai'ight?

It's not the original "Any sharp," just a copy, although perhaps a good one, (originals, they are about a tenner now, at Amazon)

Previous discussions on several threads on here never really got down to whether these are as good as the originals or not, as no real reviews from those who bought them or have the original to compare with!

If you look, you can also find this cheaper from 7 dayshop cheaper at Amazon too.

read the title 7day shop, stop trying to sound like a know it all. If it is not the "original " they can be prosecuted. Amazon is £9.99 delivered.

I only sound like a know it all?
Shame, as far as this particular item goes, I DO know it all, I must not have made the point strongly enough. For knife sharpening in general, I do know, if not all, pretty much most.

For one, I know enough to see it is cheaper from 7Dayshop AT Amazon marketplace!

They are not claiming it is the Anysharp, as it isn't, (and why they have chosen a similar sort of name) but this is a physically similar copy of the "Anysharp" which you can see sold in many places, and featured on discussions here many times. Some people might well be confused, as most copies of items are designed to do just that. The original "Anysharp" used to be available for about 7 to 8 quid, but it is a tenner almost everywhere now unfortunately.

In case you have missed it, there have been MANY discussions on both on here at length

You will also see another "copy" available on Amazon, and elsewhere, which looks a little less like the original "Anysharp" made by Draper, which is less likely to be mistaken as one, and it has poor reviews.

Even though this is cheaper, well if bought via Amazon Marketplace it is, I would personally still go for the Anysharp as there simply aren't the reviews for the "Prosharp" to suggest it is as good as the device it is copied from, the "Anysharp! Lots have bought it before when it has been on here, but for some reason, few have commented on it one way or another :-(

No one is interested anyway, and I can't believe you are trying to make yourself look stupid, so I can only assume you are arguing a non-existent point for some other purpose I can't see; but as you seem not able to find it, it is HERE, for £6.45 delivered @ Amazon Marketplace, from 7Dayshop:
amazon.co.uk/Pro…8-1

Lot's of companies sell goods at different prices on their own site to what they charge on Amazon Marketplace, it's not at all unusual.

My search did not show this and I understand they sell on amazon, ebay etc. I thought you were being pedantic over a few pence from the same shop, I appreciate that I was the dilettante

Thanks, Sorry if I sounded a bit sharp too(!)... I thought you were being deliberately obtuse, and seeing there is so much trolling going on just lately, maybe my "trigger" was set to go off a bit early too! :-)
