From their most recent email

"...We have a new shipping discount system that allows you reduce your shipping to NOTHING!

There are a number of products that have a shipping discount value associated with each item. There's no limit to the number you can by of these products and in our first week many customers have seen delivery at under £1..."

As an example I have just done this order :

7 x Loyd Grossman Carrot & Coriander Soup 2kg - £7
1 x Batchelors Soupfulls Chicken Balti 6 x 300g - £1
4 x Sharwoods Ready To Wok Medium Soft Noodles 6x300g - £4.99
3 x Sharwoods 8 Plain Chipattis - £0.99
3 x Country Dale 120 One Cup UHT Milk Portions 120x12ml - FREE PRODUCT

Total £13.98
Delivery £0.17
Sub Total £14.15

The carrot & coriander soup tastes great BTW & is a mega bargain for 50p after shipping discount

The free milk is a nice bonus but be warned it tastes strange (its not gone off, it just tastes funny) - do not try to order more than 3 as thats the most they will send out & you will just waste parcel weight if you try to order more

A lot of the items on the list are past their bbf date though. Good deal if that doesn't bother you!

Thats the main selling point of approved foods - they sell mostly items gone past their best before date at usually dirt cheap prices

Everything is completely safe to eat - the only potential issue is that they may not taste as good but so far everything i have bought has tasted fine

( the free milk does taste strange but not because its gone off )

As it happens I drink tesco/asda 'value' UHT skimmed milk normally & this tastes different to those

If you drink just UHT milk for a while you will almost certainly stop noticing the difference like I did
