Hot from me , nice find
Professional and Home Bargains in the same sentence start to ring alarms for me!
To the local burglar Christmas has arrived early this year.

What a load of crap.
Yes, I'd tend to worry that one of the cost-cutting measures employed in order to make this so cheaply will be its immunity to false alarms. If it's always going off, not only will it be useless but you're likely to make enemies of the rest of your street.
To paraphrase Douglas Adams :
This must be some new usage of the word professional that I am not familiar with.
Cheap, yes. But not an effective deterrent. A lot of work to fit, and those pirs are awful. Not even a wlf. Quality panel such as a texecom 8 costs 40 quid, decent pyronix pirs 5 notes each, Door contacts cost next to nothing and a half decent sab unit 30 quid. If your going to all the bother of wiring this lot up, buy decent kit.
All "professional" really means is that you get paid for doing the activity as opposed to being unpaid as an amateur. The word gets misused nowadays to try and describe something as being good. Which I'm guessing this system isn't.

Totally agree, I have a Texecom 8 and it is a great unit, easy to set delay and all fully programmable zones. Worth paying the extra. Cheap is really false economy. Even if you buy one item per week to spread the cost, rather than wasting money on a cheap unit.
Did any one read the up,stating good for shed or garage, seemed to imply not good enough for your home ,mansion or crib.
Our alarm system cost about £1200 and that was around 10 years ago. No regrets at all...you really do get what you pay for with this sort of thing.
dicky,s real deal cheers :0)

its been changed, original description said home shed or garage. But then why a shed or garage needs 4 pirs I don't know, and not many sheds have a mains supply to run it.
at least if someone breaks into your house they won't steal the alarm system

Bought yell wireless kit with dialer etc and never looked back. Had it 1 year and not a single false alarm. This is ****. Wouldn't trust my sheers with it.
What is everyone moaning about this is a good find and would prefer this to no alarm, I have a 12 year old wicks alarm and it's worked fault less

Because "a 12 year old wicks [sic] alarm" has burger all to do with this?
the idea of this site is to find bargains, i class a bargain as the cheapest available , so this is a hot deal due to that fact. The alarm may or may not be much cop that is not for me to coment on, as i dont own one of these alarms, if anyone of the above ppl have one of these alarms and would like to give a review then that would be great, but speculating that it must be rubbish because its cheap is very misinformed.
i help install a wireless frienlander alarm which was £29 from jtf, came with one door contact and one pir and a indoor keypad and a solar sab, i installed for a friend and as been brilliant not one false alarm in 12 months and apart from replace the batteries every 6 months as recommended by the instructions not had to touch it, that was cheap and as been good.

I fully agree it is a great price and for what you actually get. Sometimes it is false economy though to go for cheap unbranded items regardless of the fact they are cheap or not. It may be a great item but then again it may not. In the past i have purchased things like this solely on the cheap price and more often than not in the end had to go out and pay again for a good quality item. Just my opinion, but learned from experience.
you could be right it may be a rubbish but might work good too without a review hard to tell will have a google search see if i can find any reviews. How is the op doing with yours , have you installed it yet, one thing that would concern me is , does the main box and sab have battery backup or not?

Got two big mean dogs in the house and leave it unlocked all the time.
They don't bark, they just wait still hoping a burglar will eventually come in.
Unfortunately I had to have a sign at the front and back door to warn the criminals of dangerous dogs.
You can't have any fun these days!
