Pre-order for Project Cars PC is £19.97 + £2 postage.

Now if you make an order over £20 then you get free delivery. That what I did and ordered some Nintendo DSI screen protector at £1. So £20.97 all in. It is a better deal than previously posted at £22.97.

The game is out in march. Hope it helps someone.

Top notch retailer, but I'm done with PC pre orders. Hope others feel the same.

GameStop a top notch retailer?! I can't think of a worse one. I've used then three times, and each time was a nightmare. Never again.

Steamworks game too, for those who'd rather that.

I've used GameStop quite a lot and never had a problem but I agree with delboyd I'm done with pre orders but heat for the price.

Yeah, used them for Watch Dogs, Battlefield 4, Far Cry 4 pre orders and each time the game has come up to 4 days early. Superb.

Pre-ordering PC games is a terrible idea that offers almost no benefits and allows publishers to shovel out incomplete junk safe in the knowledge that it'll sell well. Please stop doing it. Is waiting until release day really that hard?

Good price but I got the steelbook version with dlc pre-ordered from game at £36 with 10% pre order discount a few weeks ago.
Will stick with that.
Heat though!

But this is a brilliant game and we know it's close to release and well worth £20. Just do it!

Im not pre-ordering any games now unless i see them at a really good discount.

If you buy this can you just put the activation code into steam and download? I don't have disc drive on my pc

It's not released for another two months and no one has reviewed it yet. How can you say it's brilliant? People like you are what's wrong with the games industry, and why the rest of us have to put up with broken, half-arsed games.

GameStop? never, ever again.

I've had more issues with Amazon (4 items) and Tesco (2 items) than I have had with Gamestop (actually had none with them). It's all a dice roll when it comes down to it.

We've been playing the game since late 2011, when it first started being developed. Builds back then had virtually no content and we've seen it progress all the way through to the latest iterations, playing each build.

It's not brilliant, at least from what I've played of it so far. I'd wait for the final release and reviews.

Good find, thank you.

When the GOTY Edition due?

With all the DLC that will come with it I assume like the Forza rip off

I would normally agree with you (pre order very rarely myself) but not in this case. The beta of the game has been out for a while (to crowdfunders) and the feedback has been very positive. Also it is quite substantial discount over RRP.

If you are in to racing games (have a gaming wheel, etc) on PC this game is the next big thing!

Ordered. As a note to those with consoles, search the store (blank search bar) and sort by console and preowned cheapest first, lots of older games <£1 which will be more fun than a screen protector or whatever

Ah yes, like that H1Z1 game that lots of crowdfunders had access to? The developers promised that microtransactions wouldn't enable people to use money to gain an advantage, and yet on release day people were able to buy crates containing weapons and ammo.

To those who have used this game, how does it compare to Assetto Corsa?

this is brilliant.

I have the G25 for sale if anyone is interested.

Yep brilliant. I've been beta testing too and fully expect it to get rave reviews.

H1z1 is still an early access game, this is a full retail release. Just read up on project cars before posting anything else. They way it was funded (not kickstarter) and delivered to the testers (it's not early access game where everyone can get in at any time). I understand what you are saying but in this case you barking up the wrong tree.

Again I am talking about this specific release not PC gaming in general. Because in general I absolutely agree with you. Regards.

Kind of, yeah. Got burned badly with ACM (didn't we all) but Tomb Raider more than made up for it, as did Titanfall (Marmite I know). I just wish we could download a demo before (I kind of did with Project Cars) and I think I'll be buying this, but still waiting on reviews.

Hmm, I'm seriously tempted by this. Only two things hold me back.

1. I have a few friends with PS4s who will be buying the PS4 version. As I doubt they will use the same servers that means I won't be able to play online with them if I get the PC version but still a £20 saving is hard to ignore. Just how big a part of the game is the online component exactly?

2. Try as I might I can find anything I want to make the total go past £20 for free delivery and having to pay £2 for delivery takes the edge off the deal somewhat. The main problem I am having in looking for something that might be suitable is that so much of their products seem to be out of stock, it seems like hardly anything is actually available! Just looking for a half decent cheap game for a pound or two I can get with Project Cars. A game for the 3DS or Vita would be ideal, but perhaps unrealistic, would take a decent PC, 360 or PS3 game alternatively but I have a lot on those formats so hard finding something I haven't got, thats really cheap....

There is a huge racing community on steam, easy to make new friends and they will be coming from Assetto Corsa so they will be clued up on tuning cars,I know you can do this on Forza....but it's Forza lol

Thanks for explaining, you make a lot of sense.

Seems like a lot of people on this site rave about this game, and also get quite defensive if people criticise it in any way. No time for sentiment when I'm parting with my money and no one should expect any different regardless of how long they've been seeing the game progress. I don't know anything about the game but this does seem cheap for a game that hasn't been released so it's a good deal, especially if it's as good as people on this site say it is. I don't do PC pre orders so will wait till release.

Decent Video for people now starting to look at the game.

I would highly advise you not to buy it if you don't have a decent Steering wheel and pedals. You just wont get the same satisfaction out of it. (P.S You wont stand a chance racing anyone)

After last years débâcle with PC pre orders I for one will certainly not be going through that again. Pre ordering means nothing these days as with a digital platforms like Steam, Uplay and Origin you are pretty much guaranteed(If the servers don't get smashed) a copy on release day.

I remember pre ordering the Sega Megadrive and Sonic months before it was released and on that day it was sold out. those were the good old days of pre ordering.

Ordered, thanks. I just couldn't help myself after watching the videos

Do you get the pre order bonus content with this version?

Yeah. What about the pre order bonus?
Sure about the steam activation?
