Well either that or the thong for £2

I take it the code PS6706 could be used for £25 off any order over £50, not just the photoframe?

p.s. that thong is just wrong!

480 x 234 resolution not good enough

If looking to get your total to over £50 if you put, say £1.49, in the search box on Empire stores,it will show you every thing sold at this price. Also works for most amounts ie £0.99....£1.99...£2.49...£2.99 etc....

COLD for the NAFF resolution. Cheap isn't necessarily cheerful.

Code will only work if order is over £50. Photo frame is £49.99 which is 1 pence short.:giggle: :giggle:

Who cares about the resolution, this is the sort of thing my mum would love for xmas and she doesn't even know what resolution is!

i got DM6013 TIFFANY BRISE BISE for £0.99 to take it over the £50. I don't even know what a brise is (I'm sure my mum would though!)

Delivery seems to have gone to 2-3 weeks. Guess you guys snatched up the stock though

Yep same here 2-3 weeks, who cares about resolution it'll only finish up sat on my mantel piece !!!! Cheers OP.......

Anyone know if this has battery power option. With having audio and video input though about using it with my camcorder (basically that or use a PSone with the mini screen.)

Having the same problem as Gavin01 - keeps saying "Invalid start date" on my credit card (which actually became valid in 2004!). A real shame. I have contacted their web people so I will have to see if they get back to me before they run out of stock!

looks pretty awesome, but what size memory card will it take up to? i assume 2gb?

nutta

Resolution not good enough will look terrible

It may be "only sat on your mantle piece" but as previous posters have stated, this frame has a very low resolution and will photo's will look terrible. I had one from argos with same resolution but ended up taking it back 'cos it looked awful.

Thought it was just my card. Not a solo one by anychance?

I wanted to get one for a xmas present for my sister thats just had a baby and load it with baby pictures. What sort of resolution should we be looking at for a reasonable price as you obviously have to bear in mind price/performance costs

I'm sorry but 480*234 is not low resolution , remember it is only a 7" screen , most other 7" frames are this resolution.

Thought it was just my card. Not a solo one by anychance?

Actually its a VISA card, so there is no excuse! I can't help wondering if my fault report is what made them shut the site down.
Anyway, if my calculations are correct I roughly make the screen size to be just under 150mm by 100mm if its using 6:4 ratio like normal photographs. This makes each pixel about 0.3mm x 0.4mm which is quite big. The resolution is low but I am guessing its more designed for viewing from a few feet away rather than up close. Might still be okay.

My Palm T5 has 480x320 yet the screen is only a quarter the size of this.

Friends bought this in USA in May. very disappointed with the resolution. It went back.

I've yet to see one with a higher resolution. These things are great for a mantelpiece display - if you're checking images for Vogue you're probably going to want something else. For everyone's mum, these things are pretty cool and £25 is a bargain.
