I've got that one, it really is a solid case to store 3ds/2ds (clamshell) in.
Does this fit the "new" (well not really anymore) 2DS?
Or the New 3DS XL? Looks like it has the extra space.

Looking on Amazon people have stated that it fits a 2DS XL, 3DS XL, 3DS XL with pad pro and even an original GameBoy.

Looks great, but don't know if I could bring myself to put my snes themed 3ds in it
Great price, looks a nice solid protective case with cool NES retro styling! Have some heat OP

I don't need one as my 3DS XL already has a (boring) case but ordered it anyway as it looks kinda cool.
I thought I would add a quick update. I ordered the case on 30th April and it arrived 2 days later on the 2nd May which is really quick considering the chaos in the world. My 3DS XL fits in really snugly and you can tell it was made for it. There is a slight recess where I assume a smaller 3DS would sit so it doesn't rattle around once the lid is shut. Once my 3DS XL is inside there is space for a few cartridges but nothing else. The case is ok for the money and has a hard shiny plastic outer but I feel it would crack if dropped from any height. Inside is rubberised with spaces for 6 games. My only niggle is when I push the release button all the way in it still takes some force to pry the case open. I think I will put my old DSiXL in and have it sat on a shelf and carry on using my older case, which although looks smaller, has room for games, a USB cable and some screen wipes.

Have also tried 2ds xl which, when in, has no room side to side but a little up and down. New 3DS XL fits with no room to move - so snug that it turned on when inserting though I couldn't repeat that when I tried.

Small gripe is that the inside colour is not the darker grey pictured and is more like the beige NES colour.

Thanks Bob - if it's tricky to get it in, have you tried thumbing it in soft?
