What's it like for taste?
I like these, slightly different from your average roll, bit more dense.

love these rolls , great for breakfast !
They're like a roll version of Burgen bread and very nice.
protein roll? Are you sure this isn't Dog Food????....
how do they manage to get 30g of protein in a 115g bread roll?
Probably wheat protein and therefore an incomplete protein source, ie no good for building muscle
Any idea if these are suitable for vegetarians

I went today and thought it was chocolate roll. It looked nice until I looked closer
It's like eating a bag of bird seed smashed into a stodgy bread roll. edible but not the best.
They taste great, go well with their cartons of soup too. Makes a fairly easy/cheap office lunch!
Lovely rolls
I think these are lovely rolls, always fresh, heavily seeded and taste good for 30g protein

What's the other 40g made up of then?? (_;)
Seeds were shooting out my a*se after eating this badboy, real machine gun food.
Use these for my child's pack lunch as guaranteed to fill her up good and proper.
These are staying soft much longer than other rolls. Very good!
Sounds nice. Decent amount of fibre, too.

Protein is protein so I'm sure you'll manage using one of these as part of your daily diet. Contains soya protein so it is more likely to be a complete protein source.

If in doubt have it with something like a slice or two of chicken.

Yes they are, possibly even vegan. I don't think there's anything in the bakery section that isn't vegetarian at least.

Water probably. Nutritional information doesn't usually add up to 100g.
Well, each to their own but I thought they were bland and chewy. Nearly as heavy and chewy as Soreen but nowhere near as flavoursome coupled with a gob full of seeds which are in the bread so you can't just pick them off the outside.

It has seeds on top and throughout
They are quite dense, in fact you could build a house with these if you wanted
Had these for a while. They've always been 29p haven't they?

And 15g of fat to boot. That's 4 times the amount of fat of a slice of bread.

but only 0.5g saturated fat
These are spot on! Have these with a tin of lidl tuna steak in approx 66g of protein!. Great for post workout.
so thought I'd pop down lidl and try these today. personally I like them. They are a decent size and I found them on myfitnesspal app.
They went down well as I've been on a carb cycling diet for a while and been avoiding bread in its entirety. A very welcome roll. heat added as a lot cheaper than the protein loaf I got from musclefood.com. The loaf was a freebie but RRP £4.50 so at 29p each these are great value.

In the Uk the carbs listed are NET carbs(The US is total carbs), these are very popular with the diabetic community and about the lowest bread you will find carb wise...........except for oopsie bread

No carb diet oO , so meat only , no veg, no fruit no anything but meat............I low carb because of diabetes , no carbs sound very unhealthy

I meant low carb under 20 grams lol just veg and some berries, so on all packaging u.k has the fiber already been subtracting away from the carb count so these rolls would of been 23gs total carbs so minus 14 for fiber leaves 9 gms net, iam i right? and also is this the way on all u.k packing what carbs it say thats the net?

Yep all Uk packaging should be NET carbs so these are about 9g................

Under 20 grams , that must be hard lol, I was on under 80g and have just gone down to under 45 grams, and find that hard, only going that low as a diabetes control or would be happy under 130g (moderately low)..........

May I ask why you are going that low as Ketosis usually occurs at less than 50g ???

Ive been on a cut losing body fat, have been in ketosis for 5 weeks now, maintained my weight but have cut 6% body fat down to 14% want to get to 10% have really enjoyed being in ketosis for this long have not missed carbs at all, have enjoyed eating new foods i would have never of thought off fat wise etc coconut oil, bacon, double cream, all types of salami, cheeses, almond butter, the lisr gos on.
