This looks to be a pretty decent, sturdy paddock stand that comes with various adaptors and attachments so that it can be used on the front or rear of a motorcycle. This price is for just one stand so obviously you'll need two if you want to lift the front wheel as well.

Also has the option of lots of different colours if you want to colour match.

Personally I think a paddock stand (or at least some way to safely lift a bike is essential for any motorcycle owner, there are various types available but this is a reasonable low cost option for most people.

If you do buy two then delivery is free (free for orders over £50).

Details:
A quality paddock stand from ProWorks with dual capability to be used on the front - or rear wheel.

To quickly change between the front and rear for ease of maintaining your motorcycle. It includes three different adapters for various mounting options.
Features:
-Adjustable Width FRONT - 16.2 - 25.2cm
-Adjustable Width REAR - 26.2 - 35.2cm
-Take care of raising most bikes so you don't occur any problems.
-Lift capacity 160kg (I don't think this correct though as few bikes are lighter than this)
-Lift height 34cm
Available in multiple colours.

I found a video on Youtube as well:

A similar stand at Amazon is £36.99 and gets almost 5 star reviews amazon.co.uk/506…F4M

It doesn't lift it as such, merely pivots round the other wheel, unless you use a pair to actuallu lift it, 320kg would be limit then.

Rocket III is about 320kg, to give perspective.

Yeah I was thinking per wheel weight.... I know having lifted 200kg+ bikes on similar stands the bikes can seem a little wobbly but I have never had a bike fall off a stand

They shouldn't fall, never known one to. these are only basic, I'd use them for winter storage, keep tyres off floor. I use a big blue as much as my bench for working.. ABBA are good too.

If you think the superbike ones are pricey, look up the skylift , I priced the technicians kit, think it was £600

Oxford bike stands are cracking value for money, great quality and smart looking. Used front and back for years!
Surely if you've spent thousands on a bike, a few of hundred quid on a sturdy stand instead of a cheap one is a no brainer? Repairs and the pain of it all would probs total more should it fall.

I've got an Oxford front paddock stand, it's rubbish if I'm honest, terrible design.

The front lift points are on a threaded bar with 2 nuts, to act as lock nuts. But the weight of the bike tightens one side, and as you can imagine untightens the other. Utter rubbish
All these stands are churned out by the million in Chinese sweatshops. Have a look on Alibaba, prices start at $5 for stand in multiples of a 100.
Abba stands are manufactured in the UK and this carries a price (as well as a quality) premium.
    You pays your money.......
