"The PRS 25th Anniversary SE Custom 24 (Vintage Yellow) follows in the footsteps of the tried and true Custom 24. The guitar that Paul Smith took to his first tradeshow in 1985, the Custom 24 is the model that brought PRS to the party. Offered in the original three colors from 1985 — Royal Blue, Scarlet Red, and Vintage Yellow — and one of the first SEs to feature old school PRS birds."

Great guitar at a great price. The inclusion of the pedal gives the edge on other competitors. Also DV247 is a great retailer I've purchased from them on a number of occasions without any problems, items always well packed. Its also available in blue.

Totally, I'm very tempted but skint at the moment. Pedal alone retails for £100-£135 ish. Tempted to get and sell the pedal :-) If only it was pay day!

Seems a bit pricey to me compared to what the Soapbar SE II used to sell for before it was discontinued?

Not a big fan of that finish, but you're essentially getting the pedal for free, so hot

Good price if you want both.

Also check out the PRS Mira X for £699 (or £649 if you dont mind it in pink!) which is a good price for a great guitar.

Left-handed guitarists like myself never benefit from these kind of offers.

Nice. Wish i had the money already saved.

My guitar sucks.

Decent reward for getting the horrible finish. Other places do the red finish for the same price but no pedal - just free strings.

Restring it inverted. Hendrix Styley

Good deal. Shame about the seller though. I tried to phone an order through to them once, which they refused to take because it was "15 minutes to closing time".

Why waste so much money when you can get Guitar Hero for less than £50?

*retreats to minimum safe distance*

MV Education have the Royal Blue with the pedal for the same price.

Is this made in the USA or UK?

US or UK ? Haha. Though at this price it should be. This is a far east version.

Overpriced for what it is.

Reminds of a story in Guitar Magazine. Guy saved for years to afford a beautiful £2000 PRS electric guitar. When he finally got one home he realised he couldn't actually play the guitar!

Maybe better of getting a Squier instead

I believe all the SEs are made in Korea. I had a Soapbar SE II & it was a very nice guitar, extremely well built & finished.

I had a similar problem with a Les Paul Standard... X)

A lot of guitars coming from the Far East tend to have a higher consistency in quality over the US. Can't really comment on UK guitars but I've played some awful US guitars that aren't worth the price tag such as brand new Fenders with warped pickguards, Gibsons with badly cut nuts and so on. I've played the occasional one that has made me think "this is something special" but they are far and few between.

/If its made in Korea, then will it keep its value like a USA made guitar?

Agree. Gibson quality control leaves a lot to be desired. I have a Korean built Fender TC90 which is an amazing guitar, I also have an Epiphone Sheraton which is well made and sounds great.I'm not a guitar sob, I just like the kit the plays well.

For this particular guitar check out the reviews here. Also check out the various YouTube videos, for the price this is a solid well made bit of kit. Hopefully they will still have the deal by the end of the month :-D

You can also get it in Royal blue (quilted maple).

Much nicer!!
