Another PRS at the £529 mark on Thomann. This time it's a 6 string SE Custom with a really nice spalted maple veneer on top The Zebra pickups might not be for everyone, but I think they work well here.

It comes with a PRS gig bag which from experience are very nice indeed.
Delivery is free but expect possible delays

Ooh I love a bit of spalted maple me.
Love this. I think Ken is right about the Zebras, I would be tempted to put P90s in but seriously tempted... if I can just get it through committee...
With all these guitar deals, do I take the plunge and try to learn to play (again), or just stick to watching Miguel Montalban on YouTube?

I tried once. Gave up. Tried a second time. Fell in love with it, and still play guitar (or piano) just about every day, some 20 years on. It's a part of me now. Taking the plunge one day and buying a guitar is one of the best things I've ever done. It's a hobby, it's a toy, it's a voice, it's a gift to give someone, and it's a social card which'll help you make new friends. Changes how you view music, too. It becomes a thing you can understand, modify, and create, rather than simply consume.

Unreservedly recommended.
Sold out . Gutted I didn't see this earlier. Would have bought this in a heartbeat.
Pulled the trigger. Already have a SE Custom 24 in tobacco, but can't resist this beauty. If it's as good as it looks, I'll have to say goodbye to my current one. If you search sold on ebay, these are going for around £700 used. If I don't like it, it may turn a profit.
