I believe best price I've seen. Paid little more from Sainsbury deal. Hot

finally, ordered - thanks

Wow. I was surprised they went down as far as they did, given the RRP and sale prices didn't match up...hats off to our online retailers for stepping up and knocking the price down further.

This has gone straight on to Flubit, let's see what comes back...

Been waiting for this, ordered.

Might order a 2nd 32gb

Nice, will finally take the plunge at this price.

Might order a 2nd 32gb

What are you putting on there, HD movies?!

Amazing price. I paid £54 from CEX. Hopefully this (and killzone) will help to shift more Vitas. Heat added.

Is this a general price cut? or do I need to jump on this?

would be nice to see these get down to £1 per GB, but probably not going to happen, think I'll have to finally get one of these though!

Not in stock yet so its a pre order

It took about 6 months of PS Plus downloads and buying some but not many games on sale for me to fill my 32gb card. Had to delete Uncharted last night just to make room for the Killzone Beta.

I'm in two minds as to whether I need another card. I think really 32gb is enough if you manage games that you're done with or decide you wont play for a while but it is very convenient to have them all just there and ready.

No wonder the vitas aint selling when they charge this much for a memory card

also rumour has it the prices for vita memory cards are on their way down for those asking

Sony said there is no official price cut in the UK but there is in Europe and North America so I'd imagine prices will still go down here as it is. When I ordered my 32gb card here at near full price it was almost cheaper to buy from the USA Amazon. If retailers here don't match the drop it'll probably be much cheaper to go to Amazon Germany or Italy.

This is in response to the price drop announced at Gamescom on Tuesday night-there wasn't any other announcement about price drops.

damn, 1-3 week wait on the 32gb memory card. worth a punt i suppose and i've managed with the 16gb for now.

I think Sony tried to play the captive audience trick without realising that most folk would find out about the obscene price of cards before they bought their Vita.

The PSN sales are usually pretty good and the price of big name physical games seems to be getting more realisitic from release (Tearaway £20, Killzone £25). Compare that with the £40+ they were wanting for Black Ops and Fifa last November. Not to mention that PS+ on the Vita has been mostly good too.

The pieces are slowly starting to fall into place for the Vita but it still needs a few must have games.

£40 for a 32 GB micro SD card? What is it 2006?

They're £15 on Amazon.

Does the Vita remember the icon positions after we swap cards or wasn't this fixed yet?

nothing to do with fanboy goggles you muppet, I was simply pointing out that it was a completly irrelevant, unhelpful comment, we all know Sony are robbing gits and the Vita doesn't use MicroSD cards, it doesn't need pointing out in every thread where someone is trying to be helpful in finding a low price

It does. I swap between 2 16gb cards and the icons are wherever you leave them. Personally the majority of mine are in folders such as Physical games, PSOne classic, Demos, PSN Games and since the update they've never moved/jumbled up as they used to.

voted hot, just because you're a Norwich fan

Can u pass the sold by amazon link plz thx

You know the value pack that's available with the 16gb memory card with the 10 game. Does any one think they may do something similar with the 32gb card?

ordered, picked up the vita with 8gb mem for £105 the other day so to get that and another 32gb memory for under £150 is pretty pleasing!

I keep seeing comments about memory card prices being a rip off & it being Sony's fault.

Would anyone be able to advise me how much Sony actually charge the retailer for their cards? I would be interested to know.

Thanks in advance.

The Nintendo 3DS uses SD Cards. This same product would cost closer to £10~15 on that system. Plus they have a more expansive and frankly better back catalogue of games (DS, DSi, and 3DS).

The PS Vita just seems like a little toy for PS+ subscribers to get for a few bad free games on the move. For real mobile gaming get a 3DS or heck even an older DS will likely give you a great deal more entertainment.

You can't compare a ds to a ps vita. Ds are for kids and adults who think mario and zelda haven't been ridden more than an 70 year old hooker
