Some really great deals on PS Vita recently. It's very much worth the money if you're into handheld gaming.

Brilliant deal, awesome console. Not played a bad game on it yet.

Recently-played gems include Sound Shapes, Velocity Ultra, Thomas Was Alone and Tales From Space: Mutant Blobs Attack. Haven't played Mercenary yet, but the MP beta was great.

Any vouchers or discount codes? Any for previous or new customers?

HOTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT

Good price. Temperature increased

Scorchio!

What's the benefit of 3G on these? I wouldn't want to pay to go on Internet when I'm out and about, can someone explain?

does the ten game voucher have a choice or is it set games does anyone know?

The real-world benefit is: nada. You can't play multiplayer with the 3G, it's a gimmick on the Vita. This is still a brilliant price though and the Vita now has a healthy library of great games to choose from.

Would you 'adam and eve it' !!!!. Was only going to pick up one of these with the mega pack bundle this weekend, so better deal by far with Killzone included !!!!

Not sure if there will be enough worthwhile games long term, but at this price it seems worth a punt.

Big thanks OP

arrrgh...picked up the shopto deal two days ago....would rather of had this

Very hot this one, been keeping my eye on these for a while, although the price drop may be due to the new slim version that's due out soon.

Bought. £164 not too bad.

Only £3 more here and in stock, Nectar points too. hotukdeals.com/dea…096

I would put this money towards a PS4, much more fun to be had there, certainly a brighter future ahead of it!

The Wifi model has GPS too. You could get directions on the move with a 3G plan though.

Looking at the release schedule there are very few games coming out, and the games that are being released are available on consoles. I already own a 3DS, what would be a reason for buying a Vita?

If you are getting a PS4 then there are plans for lots of integration between the two, including streaming games from the PS4 to it.

If you have a PS3, then you should have PS+, which means lots of free Vita games too.

And the reason mine will eventually get put to good use is that Llamasoft are releasing a new version of my favourite game ever (Tempest 2000 on the Jag), TxK, for it.

And if you ever plan to get one, I think this version with the OLED screen is going to be nicer than the newer, slightly smaller, version with an LCD screen.

This is a great deal!

While I can conceed that in terms of game releases, the future doesn't look much better than that of, say, Nintendo's Wii U but, and this is critical in my eyes, Sony have the slim version coming out shortly and also their Vita based console system for Japan's market on the horizon. They clearly feel it is a platform with bags of potenial and one they can and will continue to market. Will recent price drops and sales be enough to shift units and thus bring back the 3rd parties? Im not sure, but I hope so. In any case, Killzone is fantastic and I really like the looks of Tearaway which is due in a couple of months. And I am really hopeful of what Sony can do with the potential streaming of games to the Vita from a PS4 plus other bits of integration.

I have a 16gb card though which is barely enough. Def keep your eyes peeled for 32gb cards.
