Looks like good deal to me, considering the console alone sells for more.
Note that 'Little Big Planet' is a download rather than a physical cartridge.

Also an extra £5 off if you use the voucher code SESEPT5OFF

New Customers can get the bundle for £170.99 using the first shop code SETENS12R.

Am I right in saying with the price of these dropping all the time that your better off buying a second hand unit for much much cheaper?

That depends if you can find a preowned example "much much" cheaper, &/or you do not want a new model (unopened, untouched, & with a new warranty).

If "Little Big Planet" for PlayStation Vita is not for you, you can always sell that & offset some of the outlay for this bundle.

This aside, "Heat" added, crafton.
Looks good
Awesome deal!!!!! best LBP game yet and the community will make it like it's own app marketplace in it's own right. LBP Vita will be 1000s of games in one, the only game you'll need!

They can all be used online via WiFi, this isn't a 3G unit though if that's what you meant.

please explain difference of a 3g and this to me..... im thick lol xx

FYI, the LBP game is PROBABLY a download - the similar PS Vita + Fifa + 4GB Memory Card bundle, Fifa is a download, so it is likely that LBP is too.
It's listed elsewhere as a download, but you'll still have tons of room left on the memory card!

The WIFI only machines can link up to smartphones with hotspot functionality, so you don't really need the more expensive 3G+WIFI version...

I would mainly be looking to use it whilst out and about on the tube. Thanks for any advice

Think of it as sending your "move" in a game by an SMS text message. When your opponent receives your "move" their game is updated accordingly & they can then "move" & send the result back to your console, & so on.Perhaps only you, fluffy, know if you can afford the extra outlay now for the benefit the additional facility may bring in the future. You cannot retro--fit a 3G module/component later, however. There will be ongoing 3G data SIM costs, too. When you top-up the in-box Vodafone 3G SIM card with at least £5 you will also receive a redemption code to download "WipEout 2048" from PlayStation Store. However, you will need a memory card to store the download on...

In that case, I'll retract my "Heat"* as you cannot sell the downloaded content on to another party.

* Not really
I can tell you for a fact that LBP will be a physical copy and not a download code. All games in these bundles are physical ones unless you are in GAME/Gamestation and they offer you download codes as part of a bundle.
The Vita is dying fast. The final nail in the coffin will come with the release of the next-gen 360 and PS3. It will be like, 'Vita what?' Save your cash.

Give it a rest
Little Big Planet is £30 and a 4gb card about £12 so if you use the new customer code this means you get the vita for about £128. If you want a vita this is the best deal by a mile. Only thing I would say is there is a limited edition Call Of Duty Vita bundle coming where the Vita has a customised COD paint job. But it's a risk cos COD looks a little iffy. Little Big Planet is guaranteed to be great

Are you for real ??

What the hell has next gen, or any home consoles got to do with a VITA ?

Why on earth do morons who obviously have no interest in the deal posted, come on the forums and wind people up.

This deal is great, nobody cares what you think about the VITA, just comment on the deal.

You didn't have an argument in the first place. Yes the Vita isn't selling as well as maybe Sony had hoped, but there is still a lot of stuff they can do. Price drop, more must have games, as well as bundles in time for Christmas.

I doubt the Vita or 3DS will match previous sales of DS and PSP. The 3DS at its current rate is on for selling just over 76 million if it is on the market for 6 years, compared to 140 million for the DS in the same time frame. The price drop is what turned the 3DS around, so there is still stuff that can be done to turn it around.

Next gen Sony will probably integrate its games into phone devices for handhelds, and I'm not so sure what Nintendo will do. The sales and interest in dedicated handhelds will likely drop again in 6 years time.
If you buy a vita DO NOT buy a pre owned console. I got one from ebay and the anolog sticks broke and sony wouldnt fix it with no receipt. Traded it into game lol
Thinking of getting a Vita, would people say this is the best deal going at the moment?
I reckon this the best deal by a mile. Absolute bargain. I will be ordering one tonight.

If I got this I would look to sell Little Big Planet - don't understand the game and form what I've seen not a game I would play, how much do you reckon you could sell this for? Hard copy or digital?
It amazes me that people are actually buying these!

(didn't vote btw)

Depends what your use is for one. Myself I want one for when I am working nights and have some down time, there is only so much news and internet browsing you can do especially if your on 5 or 6 nights!
This is a great deal. Highly reccomend a vita the graphics r amazing and the screen looks great. The touch screen and rear pad works great. It might be a bit high priced but it is worth the cash especially when the new black ops, assassins creed and that all stars game comes out. Cross play will make this even better
After digging around, it looks like the bundled game, LBP is a download code.

From the advert on Very.co.uk: 'Order your bundle and download Little Big Planet from the Playstation store with your download voucher!'

Still a great deal though !!

A PS Vita is not a home console though, is it? Totally different, just like a Vita compared to a smartphone and a 3DS.

I would avoid any preowned console from this generation onwards considering how complex and easily breakable they are. Just not worth the hassle of getting one, having it break, and have it replaced or fixed.

Well they aren't different, the markets eat into each other. Nintendo long acknowledged the threat of smart phones.
