*Please see note below* (thanks NathanDrake)

First time I've seen these. According to website, it supports up to 256gb.

If these work, it's about time as the Vita memory cards are ridiculously priced.

Any comments on how good these are would be helpful

YOU MUST BE ON 360 FIRMWARE FOR THIS CARD TO WORK!

I thought you need some lower firmware to use these so you can hack the Vita into thinking its a real card?

I would also like to know if they work???
My kids men card broke a while back but refuse to pay silly prices for a small mem card.

Your ps vita needs to be hacked in order for these to work. (Firmware 3.60)I have one it's pretty good

I think so. 3.60 or lower from what i know.

Nice.. why has it taken so long for these to materialise?

Be aware you need to be running the henkaku custom firmware for these to work. Lots more info on r/vitahacks

And then you cant go online I assume??

Can you hack a vita that's upto date firmware wise?

Aww. I got excited about this. Not confident enough to hack my vita, I think it's fully up to date which makes it even harder.

Impossible at the moment. I don't think anyone is currently working on hacking new firmware either.

Thanks for letting me know, will have to resign myself to looking for stupidly priced vita memory cards.

It makes it impossible not harder.

I’ve got one of these as my vita is indeed on 3.60 not fully got round to attempting to use it and set it up. For others who don’t have one personally just buy a normal psp and use home brew/emulator on that if you own the original of that game/console of course

Yes you need a Vita that's running on hacked 360 firmware. Anything above that and you cannot use this adapter.

Also people on 360 firmware can't play any new game requiring firmware above 360.

Sony has really secured the Vita after that.

been out sometime but as others said you need a hacked vita

Ps vita hack allows playback of ps vita games you know.

I picked up an OLED for £10 with 3.51 on it for this purpose, just not gotten around to bothering to hack it, so it's sitting gathering dust whilst my lime green slim gets all the gaming fun.

I’ll give you £20 I’m going to do the same after what @robo989 has said and keep one on the updated firmware

I'm not sure what you did to the person you got that from but a PS Vita for £10 is a great deal. Put me in contact with them and I'll buy a spare just in case ; )

If you have 3.60, believe me, its as easy as literally going to a website ....

Haha well it was without a charger but did have a 16GB card in it too!

I already also have a 3G/WiFi OLED anyway that the daughter uses so had the charge lead too.

I don't think you need to mod for these to work as i had one in a psp, I have one on order for 2 pounds for my vita as long as your firmware matches the adaptor your buying it should function normally

I really think a notice should be added to this post to make it clear to potential buyers that this requires a. 3.60 firmware or less, which is firmware from over 18 months ago and b. that it requires said old firmware to be modded in order for this to work.

Fortunately I've got a stash of a couple of < 3.60 PS Vitas and TVs. Flashing is easy enough and quick once you know how. Got 128GB card in the PSTV for replaying all my PS1 backups.

Seems fishy, probably stolen.

Just to "backup" what everyone has said yes you do need 3.60 as it's the only firmware supported by Henkaku. With the Enso version of Henkaku the back is persistent and let's you load plugins. One of which supports this kind of memory. (There is another method for older 3g hardware.)

This isn't plug and play there is a little prep and setup required. There is masses of information and help to get it up and running and once it is you can have a large sdcard running your vita games and even use the original memory card for emulators and psp emulation (adrenaline).

Out of stock now

You can get these for a couple of quid from AliExpress. I have two of them. They're just Chinese clones of a homebrew design. You do need a modified Vita to use them though.

I'm looking for a New or 2nd hand good condition VITA, if anyone has one they don't want or aware of one for sale.

I need one of these where can I get one from now this is out of stock ?

People on ebay sell a similiar item, it's called SD2VITA. Works just as well just not as fancy looking.

Maybe, story was that it was just at the bottom of the kids toy box and they couldn't find the charger for it.

You do need a custom firmware. these adapters fit in the GameCard slot (which is pretty much just a Custom SD card slot with DRM)
This card will only work after a custom driver is loaded by Henkaku which bypasses the drm and mounts the MicroSD in this adapter to the memory card slot. The Vita then believes it has a Sony memory card inserted

Vange - 99% guaranteed to be hot goods!

I've hacked my Vita and got one of these running. Just watched a You Tube video to install Henkaku and then another video to use the above adaptor.
