I've got a Vita with a 16GB Memory card. I can't imagine having an 8GB one. 8GB isn't much space.
Great deal, super hot!

On that note, if anyone hasn't played or even heard of a flash game called Super Hot, check it out!
Shopto are great. I ordered Diablo 3 last Monday night at 17:15 and it arrived Tuesday morning in the post! Never had any issues with ordering from them.
get the 16gb version for the same price.
Cold, not a 3DS....
Voted hot for the console alone but the games are a bit 'PSP.' Not that there's anything wrong with PSP games. TBH, I still play my PSP more often than my Vita.

That's why it's hot.

I've got a vita with a 64gb card. I can't imagine having a 16GB one. 16GB isn't much space.

8GB is fine for a starting point, as is 16GB.
64gb!? What do you put on there?
Can you give us some examples of storage? I checked the psn store website and most games were like 1.2gb.
Very tempted by this, what are the chances of a better Vita deal in the next month?
which would you guys say is the best package option?

Hey Dude.

I'm a massive advocat of the Vita. I've had it since the launch year and have over 100 games, too many in fact to fit even on the 64gb memory card. I have 25 on game cards and the rest are digital on the 64gb card, at least half of those being free PS+ games. All this nonsense of the Vita not having great games is ludicrous, it's got bloody loads.

On top of that I have several apps and about a dozen films (for watching on planes .etc). It's cracking.

How many bums does shopto have their finger up on here?

They are dreadful to deal with if you have any issues. I think the last time I tried to phone them I hung up after being on hold for 30 minutes

I'd argue two things here, first though I love my Vita and would swear by it.

1) It has some really good games, but there's a lot of crap on there too.
2) I don't see the point in having more than 12 games installed at once (I have a 16gb card and this is what I adhere to).

So my argument being that 16gb is more than enough space. Apples and oranges in terms of game preference, but 16gb is absolutely enough considering the ridiculous prices of the memory cards.

Well, 1) Goes for any games console/platform ever.
2) That's fine. I have over 100, I see it as an advantage having as many of the ones I enjoy installed and ready to play as possible. I guess it's personal preference on that. I used to have 2x 8gb cards, upgraded to a 32gb and then upgraded to a 64gb when they were first released in Japan (cheap ship over). My 64gb cost £60 delivered, when a 32gb cost over £50 in the UK.

The cards are expensive, but the games are good value, especially if you're a PS+ subscriber. For me, it evens out.

I take every available opportunity to correct people claiming that the Vita is lacking good games. I agree with the chap above; it has A LOT of good games. Probably spent more time on my Vita than my PS3 and PS4 combined.

Such misuse of the term 'apples and oranges'!

I'd say there is a lot on there that I haven't really ventured to play, I guess if your Vita is considered your main console then you probably would be better off with bigger cards. I virtually only use mine to play PS+ games (and I do play the majority). Think the only game I've ever bought for it was Persona 4 Golden. I couldn't sit and play Borderlands 2 etc. on it, especially when it's been free on PS3.

Largely comes down to usage, but the Vita certainly ain't a handheld for everyone, there's a lot of people who have expressed disappointment at some of the games on there, though I'm not necessarily one of them (can't praise the console enough), there isn't enough available for me to warrant using it more than a PS3 or having a 64GB card.

Though can't argue at the price of the card, I think I forked out around half of that for a 16gb.

That's a fair point.

I bought the PS Vita as I was paying for PS+ for my PS3 and PS4. I also have a gaming PC, but because of the range of content, portability and instant start - the Vita has become my most used device. Love it.
Won't let me order been using ShopTo for years never had a problem. Every time I try & order just asks me confirm my security answer & enter mobile which I do then nothing just stays on the web site no message or nothing looks like they will be losing an order.

I think I've missed quite a bit on Vita, I honestly would love to be able to pay the money for some of the games on the store, cause I'd probably enjoy them, it's just I'm a bit nervy because I've played some PS+ games that I thought I'd enjoy and they sucked.

I took the plunge with Persona, didn't know anything about it, and it's now my favourite game (or thereabouts). Maybe I should just do it more.

Persona is great. I genuinely started with the Vita as I was paying for PS+ anyway with the PS3 and PS4. I thought "if I'm getting two free Vita games every month, might as well get a Vita". As I said, over a 100 games, a mix of AAA and indie. My favs are (in no order):

Persona 4 Golden
Open Me
Little Big Planet (best version of)
Sine Mora
Frobisher Says
Wipeout 2048
Rayman Origins
Gravity Rush
UTF
Motorstorm RC
Guacamelee!
Uncharted Golden Abyss
Touch My Katamari
Limbo
NFS Most Wanted
Lemmings
FIFA Football
Football Manager 2014
Borderlands 2
Virtua Tennis 4
Thomas Was Alone
Stealth inc
F1 2011
Buzz Master Quiz
Assassins Creed 3
SFxTK
Call of Duty Black Ops
Killzone Mercenary
Hotline Miami (Best version of)
International Snooker
WRC4
Smart As
Escape Plan
Tearaway (Best game on the Vita, my game of 2013 - trumping even "The Last of Us")
GTA Liberty City
Spelunky
Pure Chess
Luftrausers
Angry Birds Trilogy
Worms Revolution
Shooter Ultimate
Metrico
Fez

This is about a third of the games I've purchased, at least half were free with PS+. I'm not putting this as a "look at me" - but I really struggle to see the POV of "there's no games for the Vita". Not only are the hundreds of games, some of them are incredible. The cross-platforms are often better on the Vita due to the touch screen (Miami Hotline for example). It is an amazing piece of kit.
