I think this is a cracking deal. Ordered and shown as dispatched already.

The Football Manager (Voucher Code) pack comes with a 4GB card in the box, and you get a 16gb with the Kids megapack.

i think overall works out better than the Smyths deal - especially those who can't get to one.

I'm still really undecided on whether I want a vita. I have a ps4 so wouldn't mind one for the remote play but aside from that I'm not sure. I played on a friends and the sticks are weird to get used to. Any recommendations from owners? Thanks! (Good deal, saw it last night)

Am I misreading or does it come with Borderlands 2 too?

Original Poster

My mistake, borderlands 2 aswell!

Vita is well worth it for Person 4 Golden alone. Plenty more great games too.

Pretty good deal hot

And grab killzone from the other deal

My vita has been amazing. Good ps plus titles and loads of great remasters.

P4golden disgaea3 and 4 this year ffx hd let alone all the other great shooters etc.

I've ordered the trigger grips for mine so remote play is easier. Also remote play is just great it means the Mrs can watch eats enders and I can't play watchdogs hassle free hah

Only downside is memory cards but just sink for a big one and don't look back.

I bought a preowned vita from GAME for £80 about a week ago and it came in perfect condition (previous owner even left the memory card inside :P) Remote play is really fun, but I wouldn't have paid more than £100 for it.

I have mixed feelings about remote play. It's a great idea in theory, but in practice, it doesn't work that well in my opinion.

There are 2 issues with it. Firstly, any PS4 game that has a heavy reliance on the R2 and L2 triggers, is a pain to control using the rear touch pad on the Vita. Secondly, the vita seems to quite often lose connection with the PS4 while you're mid game.

Vita's great! You can also do remote play with your PS3, as well, which is awesome for watching content on your ps3. PS4 remote play is awesome. I've tried it once or twice outside my wifi, and it connects but has been choppy. I think it's just because of the connections I've had, though. I was more impressed it managed to connect with them.

PS+ games are great, get atleast 1 awesome one a month. LOVED Muramasa Rebirth and am addicted to Dragon's Crown now! I think I've had about 15 free games when I bought it, because I just claimed them on PS+ before I got it, just in case. I'm so happy with mine, and not sure why I didn't get it a long time ago.

I have a Vita. Looking to get a PS4. In truth, I don't play my Vita as much as I'd like to but then I don't play games all that often any more (so why do I need a PS4 my missus cries...). When I do fire it up I think it's a fabulous bit of kit.

I've heard mostly very positive reports on remote play. Some, like skinrush above, have had drop out issues but from what I've read the connection for the majority is absolutely rock solid. There could be a number of variables driving this though - my old house which was about 80 years old and built with ridiculously thick walls couldn't push a wifi signal further than about 3m's which was mince.

I paid a chunk more than this asking price for mine. I don't regret it though. I've enjoyed it, my eldest enjoys it - been a lot of fun when I manage the time for it.

Cracking deal, haven't touched my 3ds collection (50 odd games) since picking up a vita

Just before anyone asks, hardly any PS3 games have remote play, unless you jailbreak it in which case a lot work (youtube it for video examples)

Here is a list of Official PS3 remote play games

The second issue could be down to the quality of your Wifi. A good connection is recommended for remote play.

Seems like a good deal to me I'd definitely recommend FM on the vita but be warned it's very addictive

Great price. Vita is a lovely bit of hardware.

I had the Hori grip for my (original) Vita which made it much more comfortable to use

Anyone know if this is online only or can ya get it in store

never has such a game been so much of a dissapoitment.......football manager was delayed and delayed.......and y????????? its a poor version, bring bk the same style as on psp

I don't really want Borderlands 2, Or the Mega Pack, or FM, but I want a PS Vita, what should I do?

vita seems to be a dying console after e3. 16gb is about the right amount for standard use though for ps+. pack's 4gb plus 2 poor ports of games seems bad value compared to a cheap 2nd hand wifi and a 32gb though.

at least, if you have ps+ or intend to use it. 32gb and a years sub gets you great games for the same price a this

anyone think i should buy a Vita ? i had one last year but i didn't have enough time to play it so i sold it but i keep having urges to buy another one. not sure if i'm really a handheld guy but psplus is stupidly great value. also i'm worrying Sony will drop support for it any day now especially as they announced no retail games at E3.

if you have PS+ and have been putting the free vita games through checkout every month you'll have a backlog of great games - a wifi model can be had under £100 and a 16 or 32gb card for £25/40 so in that sense i think it's superb value. retail games are rather hard to find and are rarely highly discounted, plus you can count the number of retail games worth owning on your fingers.

personally i play mine at home and use my phone for mobile gaming, plus my psp for longer journeys. if you don't feel the need for a powerful portable console i'd suggest sticking with phone emulation or a £30 psp.

I'm wondering the same thing. Might have to give them a call
