Seemed like a good deal to me, not too much of a fan of the PS Vita, but seemed good for the price.

sorted bySitting playing the Vita isn't very sociable but it is significantly better than leaving the room. I've also used it many times away from home for work or on holiday. It makes a 5 hour flight much more bearable.
What's more I'd have to move my Xbox with me each time and I find that pretty annoying. Picking up the Vita is much more convenient. Moving out the living room entirely isn't an option because it would be away from the good TV, the hardwired internet connection and the sound system.

I had one from them last year when they were 99.99 and mine was immaculate... came in generic box rather than original through... They are guaranteed for 12 months, and you can return if not of a high enough standard...
both fair points i think. suppose its just each to their own. i never played any of sonys handhelds because i just thought its a smaller scaled down version of the console games. the original gameboy was the last handheld i played but that was at school.
It's not for everybody - certainly. There are a whole host of games for it that are essentially PS2/PS3/PS4 style games, ammended for the Vita. There are however a host of games on the Vita that are entirely bespoke and innovative. Tearaway I already mentioned, but the AR games (where you essentially "play" on items within your real world - through the use of the cameras) is awesome. LBP is better on the Vita than it is on the PS3 and there's so many indie games that run brilliantly on it.
It is ideal for travel, but I do enjoy it at home. The fact it does remote play isn't the key for me, but it's a nice facility to have.
Really? I prefer it, so much so I sold my uk version, but then my eyesight is just normal. I guessing you are blessed with eyesight that puts superman to shame such as yourself then this is the model for you.
Not bad for playing in bed if you're feeling lazy either.

do you ever touch a door handle, stair rail, shopping trolley etc? The world is full of germs
Am I the only one playing Persona 4 Golden in bed until I am forced to get up?
Also, everyone who takes advantage of this deal should grab P4G!
No, because we're not all sopping wet blankets like yourself. Jesus wept.
Are you trolling? You said you've just bought one. Why would you not research the failure rate prior to purchase?

Have I ordered one? Yes!
Will cost you over £20 for the memory card alone, then a further £20-£40 for the games.
So by buying this your paying MORE then a new one, just plain stupid really. And yet gets heat? shows how people do not bother to do the calculations at all and just buy any old deal.

Two slots, 3 if you include the 3g sim slot. Took me a while to find the memory card slotoO
For the second question, it really depends how many games you want loaded at once. You can always redownload them of course. I got a 32gb card, have 14 games on it with 7gb spare. Some games are over 3gb, some only 200 - 300mb, so it also depends upon the games you want to play.
I get there is no £140 deals, but there will be if you wait a few weeks. Only reason I can see for buying this (my opinion), is if you want just for remote play on ps4, or if money is a real issue and you can't afford/justify a total outlay of £140. Both of which are perfectly valid reasons.
Use some disinfectant wipes on it and you'll feel a lot less weird :).
Online orders can be returned to any store (unless you use PayPal, then it must be returned via post).
sell off the bits if you don't want them, can't beat new
People ask such daft questions sometimes.

Not a competitor.
Any game you have downloaded via your PSN account will always be there, if you delete it from a device then you just download it again, same applies to Vita,PS3 or PS4.
Anyone who has a Vita and is contemplating purchasing a PS4 (or vice-versa) and has a Playstation Plus subscription, trial or bought, should purchase every free game there is available for every device.
Download them later when/if you do own that device.
You don't need to own a PS4 for example to purchase a PS4 PS+ free game (assuming of course you have PS+)
Purchase these through your PSN account on any web browser.

I've bought some of my consoles (xbox 360, ps3, wii u) preowned from GAME (and touch wood) I've never had a problem with any of them
Yeah, just been looking into remote play. I pay for PS+ for PS4, so for £90 I can get this, get PS+ games for vita and PS4, seems pretty good value.
There have been some great ones recently. Guacamelee and Oddworld were games I'd never considered but I loved both of them. Haven't even got round to starting Soul Sacrifice but it seems pretty well regarded. If the USA ones are an indicator, next month will be rubbish but anyone with a PS3 and PS+ who has been "purchasing" the Vita games each month will have some great games to play on it - Mortal Kombat and Rayman are two articular favourites of mine.
zero and yes. Although I did pick up a 16gb for £25 from argos a while back and I think they're getting cheaper too.
In sony's defence, the vita memory is probably much faster than a cheap £10 sd card. However I won't go THAT far in defending sony, because they do too much of this bespoke stuff, it could very well run off SD cards and they chose not to.
They're pretty much an essential purchase unless you only want the Vita for remote play. I'd also say get 16 gig as a minimum. Mine came with a 4 gig and couldn't even manage two of the larger games.
