This seems like a very good deal to me and arguably the best deal yet on the PS3 bundle if you use the £30 discount voucher for orders over £400, as the console starts from £424.96 and after the use of the voucher, it becomes the best value deal in my opinion, making it just £394.96 delivered and just £381.14 after Quidco.
The package includes:
PlayStation 3 console
extra Sixaxis Controller
3 GAMES:
MotorStorm
Resistance:Fall of Man
Virtua Fighter 5
Don't forget to go through Quidco for your 3.5% to make this an outstanding deal.

sorted byHi mate, i wrote it in your PS3 bundle deal but here's the same info and a bit more included for you.
Quidco basically operates as an affiliate company but they're a co-op, so you receive the full commission for whatever you buy from practically any site in the uk but you simply pay them the first £5 you earn once a year as an admin fee, so if you don't use it, you don't pay anything further.
They have 2 payment methods but I would recommend receiving payments via bank transfer rather than Paypal, as paypal will charge you 3.4% + 20p and would take longer to cash, whereas bank transfer is quick and they only charge 5p for each transferred amount and you could put a minimum payout on this as well, so you won't have to pay 5p for every small payment.
Once you sign up, which just requires a username and password and then you fill out your details to receive payment once you're ready to receive money.
All you have to do after that is make sure you're logged in before you buy anything online, type in the company you'd like to buy from in the search engine and then click on the link on the next page and that's it..... you'll receive the payment automatically if it tracks.
If you'd like to know more, checkout www.quidco.com, it's very easy to join and i've earned nearly £150 since i joined last November.
Hope that helps and i recommend everyone joins Quidco, it's a great service that makes great deals even better.
must be out of stock now but the pack with ridge racer instead of motorstorm is still there

Also the promo code doesn't work for me if I use 'Reserve & Collect', only works for 'Home Delivery' which is not available. Is it the same for everyone, Thanks.
There are some AAA games due after xmas but the price is not going to be going up.
I think some areas have already sold out of that bundle but there is an alternative.
The promo code is only for home deliveries but if that package is not available, you could always use it for the package i've listed just above, which is just swapping one of the games Motorstorm for Ridge racer and that one is definitely in stock.

Also it's definitely the 60gb model, as that's the only version released in Europe.
Hope that helps.

As I mentioned in this thread, you may like to check that you do get an extra controllers (i.e. two in total) as the image on the page shows two, but the specification only mentions one.
And yes, the 20Gb console was not released in the UK.

Don't forget the US & Japan markets had the PS3 in November last year, whereas Europe (and the UK) launched in March 2007; so give it another 4 or 5 months, and there should be a price drop in time for Christmas...

3 games, ( pick from 5 ) 2 pads, £425 Thats £160 off !
just picked one up, could not with for the paly offer, which is the best
If you left the console on all month you could heat cold food on it, so that's a saving straight away!
I don't know if this will work with the £40 code......
Its the straw that broke the camel's back for me - what little chance Sony had of reclaiming this PS1, PS2 & PSP owner's custom has now disappeared for good. :x
Do these guys live in a hole in the ground? Are they completely unaware of how many European customers they are losing due to their continual arrogance?
The PS3 book is now firmly closed as far as I'm concerned - I'll stick to my lovely Xbox 360 methinks.
not far off from my target of
3 games
5 bluray movies
2 controllers
£360 price tag :whistling:
wonder wot santa will bring for me this xmas :santa:
Nevermind, I love my PS3 and I think it's well worth the money. Motorstorm and Resistance are cool, plus free online wireless (inbuilt) gaming and internet access - keeps me amused anyhow!!
Voted hot..
£13 a day sounds like a lot for food - then again, I don't eat meat.
That deal deserves its own thread!
Nice find

LOL - only a month, this would feed my family of 16, buy a new house and send the mother inlaw away for a whole year - some people must eat gold for dinner ;-)
Good deal if you're after a PS3
CS
I totally agree mate, I had a PS1 on launch day, a PS2 on launch day and then bought a Jap PSP on launch, you could say I was happy with the playstation brand.
At christmas time last year I thought about buying a 360 or even getting hold of a Jap PS3. The price difference is way to far out, I ended up buying a 360.
Mainly due to the excellent back catalogue of games, excellent experience on xbox live and the main selling point to me was the price of games.
I picked up a couple of games in Toys r us the other day for £4.99 each! Even online shops sell loads of good games for around £17.99, so it is very affordable.
Long gone are the days when I was a teenager saving a huge £49.99 for a Super Nintendo game!
I dont like how sony are using the PS3 to sell their Blu ray technology, basically if it wasn't in the PS3 blu ray would flop. Like the 360, customers should have a choice, if they want to watch high def films they buy an add on so the console costs go in line with your needs.
I'd like to see over time how well the PS3 blu ray drive holds up for movies, it has been noted that the disc read errors that plagued the PS2 were from using it to playback DVDs. And to be fair it was a pretty poor dvd player, lip sync probs and all.
Yeah there might be reliability issues with the 360, but microsoft are now giving EVERYONE 3 years warranty, so takes alot of worry off if you ask me.
Anyone know wether its worth contacting PLAY to see if they can help me out or is it too late?
Thanks in advance! ;-)
the blatant arrogance will be responsible for their ultimate downfall, they treat the european market like third world jokers who should just be grateful we have an opportunity to have the hardware.
they can shove their POS PS3 up their jap asses
