Well after struggling to find these for a good price anywhere due to being out of stock everywhere. I've just ordered two for £43 delivered which is cheaper than eBay/Amazon everywhere

CECH-ZCM1 - £20 each
CECH-ZCM2 - £32 each

I know they are used but they come with a 24 month warranty so as good as new basically

Hopefully this makes some people happy in time for Xmas

" but they come with a 12 month warranty"

Actually I believe CEX give a 24 month warranty on all products now*. So even better, though I've heard their returns process isn't perfect.

I stand corrected, I was happy with 12m but I'll take 24m 18261816681576249587.jpg
Post updated to reflect longer warranty
Sorry but their 24 month warranty means absoltely nothing. they will try every way possible not to honour it !
The ps3 ones will need new batterys soon . 2 ps4 ones are basically the same price as 2 new ones.

I get what you mean...........but compared to buying it used from a guy on eBay it's still better than nothing
Is that a twin pack, if not the V2 is not a good deal as you would be paying £64 for used.
Just bought some and works excellently
Argos have the v2 for £59.99. This works out more with added gunk and other unmentionables.
I had loads of accessories for my PS3, everything is boxed up ...sorry to be ignorant, does this mean my old PS3 Move Controller will work on my PS4?

I 'think' they do - I got PS VR and had an old PS3 Move and I'm pretty sure it worked but I needed a 2nd so just bought 2 new v2 ones. I can say for sure though that the v2 ones don't work on the PS3 - just tried the other week but no joy and after a quick google it was confirmed they're not backwards compatible.

Might have to buy a v1 from CEX now!
Warrantied aren't created equal, so take care not to assume this covers all eventualities over the next 24 months

Thanks, that is interesting. I have googled, and it looks like the controller may work, although someone was commenting on compatibility with VR. It looks like the PS3 eye camera won't work, so I am not sure how limited the Move will be if games were produced for them to work as a pair.

I'd still rather wait for a restock than buy any used moves from cex

Only works on games involving the neighbour, the plumber and the milkman, I'm afraid; you're just not compatible.

yes cos I bet original move controllers had TONNES of use

each to their own, but for myself.........a cheap used PSVR on eBay as our gift to ourselves for Xmas and with money being tight due to having 3 kids. £40 for a pair was a great deal and opened up more games, when you're not even sure VR is your thing. Keep it cheap and upgrade in the future if it doesn't just collect dust
What's the difference, v1 vs v2?

The V1 move's (from the PS3 days) will work on the PS3 or PS4 whereas the V2 move's will only work on the PS4. The difference on the V2 is a slightly larger battery and a micro USB (rather than mini USB of the V1). I have replaced the battery on one of mine, was about £6 off eBay and took a few minutes to do - it's just a clip connector.

You can mix and match them - I use two V1's on my PS4 but I've took them to a mates and used one with a V2 on her PS4. They also work fine on VR.

The PS3 Eye camera does not work on the PS4 and therefore not for PS VR either.

Slightly larger capacity battery on the V2 along with micro USB charging port (same as the DS4 controllers) rather than mini USB of the V1. V2 only works on the PS4 whereas V1 works on PS3 and PS4

Yep, Argos are doing a brand new twin pack of the V2's for £59.99 if you can find stock.

Did you put the larger 1900mAh from the V2 in a V1?

my nearest store with stock is 92 miles away hence why I just grabbed a couple of these for now

All those VR Black Friday deals have wiped out Move controller stock

PSVR V1 & Camera bundle, boxed and hardly used for £80 on eBay, was worth a punt to see if it's our thing.......if not, worth every penny to p*** myself watching the wife play RE7

That's a great deal, but i couldn't do that myself knowing it's been on someone else's face. I wouldn't want someone else using mine when I'm done with either, so may just box it up and put it in storage.

I still haven't got round to playing re7 in vr yet. The standard way of playing it is enough for me

it can be cleaned, worlds gone mad with the whole hygiene thing

tbh I played the RE7 demo on a TV and it scared the hell outta me soooooo......yea........VR is gonna be an 'experience'
