I think PS Now is miles better. Game Pass offers 100+ games, PS Now 700+ at what, less than half the price?

I think the gamepass offers more triple A titles. They have also made EA access included with it as standard. Gamepass set the bar but PS Now is still a great service, had big potential if Sony utilise it more.

This is legitimately a great price for PS Now, almost the best I've seen. Earlier this year, PSN did a promotion dropping the price to £34.99, and using Shopto to get a £35 wallet top up, you could ultimately pay as little as £29.85. This is very close to that

I think EA Play is only included with Ultimate subs, not a standard XGP sub.

Yeah I can see what you mean. I use both as they save me alot in the long run. Getting games on launch with Game Pass makes me favor it a little more though

That's on Game Pass Ultimate, which is how much, around £100 a year? EA Play is ok on Xbox but it's nothing great on PS4. PS Now definitely has more AAA games, around 150, which like the entire Game Pass library. I looked at the Game Pass games, it does have a few good games, but i noticed a lot of the games are exclusive to either Xbox or PC, they aren't all available to which ever platform you use Game Pass on. And a lot are Xbox 360 games. The one thing i think it daft on PS Now is all the Exclusives aren't permanent additions.

Sony had a sale for £35 a year a few months ago. Rrp is £50 a year, but not many would pay that I assume with all the deals. If you keep an eye on eBay, some resellers have it for around £20-25 a year with limited stock.
Super cheap.

bitten. Didn’t like gamepass but I’ll give this a go.

do these stack?

Since I got game pass I haven't touched my PlayStation just for exclusives but not that many great ones around.
I think PS Now will be included with PS Plus from November. Wishful thinking maybe, but it would be a good counter attempt to Xbox Game Pass.

I've found half of the games they advertise aren't actually on psnow anymore, if you go through and count all the psnow games I doubt that there is that many, majority of them are a bit trash also. I was a bit disappointed with now, although there are good games on there, there's just too many that are locked behind the 720p stream quality which ruins it for some games

Think you are right here can see Sony getting this service linked in with PS plus and dropping the 2 monthly games to be more like Xbox with new(ish) titles coming and going. At least it might have chance to stop the monthly moaning about the 2 free games (doubt it though )

I think they will keep the 2 free games too, as Xbox still gets free games on Gold each month. Plus one of the 2 games is usually an indie game and it's good to see indie developers getting noticed, especially if their game is pretty good.

No chance, not for the price. Keep hearing rumours that a new bundle is coming called PS Plus Gold or something. But one thing that makes me think not is that they keep putting PS Now games as PS Plus monthly games like this month. I think they should just stop giving monthly Plus games and just have it for online only, drop the price and have PS Now for the games only. As it stands people who own both subs are getting screwed.

I just think with Microsoft really pushing Xbox Ultimate Pass to be the best value for money gaming subscription, we really need to see what Sony are doing with PS Plus - and honestly the best thing they can do in my opinion is include it with PS Now - even if that means increasing the price of it slightly.

I could say the same for Game Pass tbh. In fact I don't even know anyone who owns an Xbox.

Gamepass has something like 6x the subscribers, that'll be why you hear a lot more about it. Plus the MS first party titles at launch.

PS Now is still tarred with the streaming-only brush, lots of people still don't know you can download games.

I think it's quite a good service for the money though. IMHO Sony need a relaunch and rebrand of PS Now to gain the headlines like MS have lately.

It was a simple mistake. No need to be so rude. Cold.
Deffo worth getting now as Sony may announce something with this.. Rumour is Sony gonna add some movies onto PSnow going forward to increase the value that means PS now will most certainly increase in demand and maybe price but these cheap buys will deffo go up and u wont get much cheaper than RRP if it becomes popular.

Nah you will always get cheaper deals no matter what. Company's can undercut competitors constantly on things like digital sales it's what drives the economy. Their will always be a company buying in bulk and doing their do to get their customers through the door. Benefits them, benefits Sony it's just economics.

Thats not how basic capitalism works, supply and demand drives up price and if Sony make PS now more valuable price will rise its as simple as that. I'm hoping the price is still the same when i get paid so I can add a couple more years going into next generation as Sony already confirmed PS5 support.
